Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve! It is officially my favorite day of the year! I cannot wait to get together with everyone later this afternoon. I love having dinner with everyone and just being in their company. I know we will be watching The Santa Clause 2 later on, as we watched The Santa Clause last night. They are some of my favorites and I think some of the most Christmasy!

I hope that you all have a wonderful day with your family and friends. If you have to travel, be safe! This is our special time of the year, so be sure to enjoy it!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am working today for another hour or so then we are going to church for a 4:00 service. Tonight we will have my Dad over for dinner for Chinese food and watch some Christmas movies! Also my girls and I will make cookies for Santa.

I'm having a cup of coffee and thought I would pop in to say hello again. I just took a pecan pie out of the oven and put a pumpkin pie in. It smells so good in here.
We will be spending the eve with my husbands family and we will be with my family tomorrow. Two of my sister-in-laws had a big fight about a week ago so it's going to be interesting tonight. Every year our kids do a secret santa thingy with their cousins. One of my sister-in-laws thinks the kids are getting too big and wants to stop it and the other feels very strongly about continuing the tradition. It ended up that the kids will not be doing the gift exchange anymore. From what I hear, it got ugly. It's sad. I think I'm going to have a glass of wine later before we leave.

It is a bitterly cold, sunny day here in Mid-Michigan. There was a light dusting of snow last night and what hasn't blown off in the breeze is making the trees looked flocked with the ice underneath being the twinkling lights - gorgeous!

Palmer has settled down for a snooze on my knees so I am toasty right now.

We have been busy getting the house ready for all the family coming over tonight. We are done and taking a rest before they get here at 6pm.
We also have to host Christmas Day tomorrow, last second change, we do prefer having it here though.

Well, I have to start getting the food ready, I do not know if I will be able to come back today.
