Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high in the upper 20's. The last day of 2013. Wow!! Where has the year gone? There was some rough times but the good things that happened greatly out way them. So I'm going to call the year a success. Not to much on my agenda for today. I'm just going to whip up a few snacks for tonight and do some more cleaning. I'm also going to try and enjoy the final night of Christmas movies on Hallmark. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I just found out Bernie and Hilda are down with bad colds. I think we'll ride out to my mom's with a couple pizzas, instead. She said she has some left-over oyster stew!

Last day of work for the year! I hope the boss tells us we can leave early....I'm already bored. I'm looking forward to spending a quiet New Year's eve with Mom, as my husband is going to be working this evening. We'll have sandwiches, then fall asleep watching a movie, I'm sure.

Good morning. Buster is doing ok. Pretty much the same. Some days good, some days he's much slower - yesterday I had to chase him home from the neighbors 3 times! Lol! He was exhausted last night! And today he seems ok. I guess it's just a day by day thing. Thanks for asking! :smile:

We had a ball!! Cute, cute movie. They were absolutely giddy on the way home. Cracked us up! My Mom went along too. Them kids are just so funny! Carter thinks Grandma is old & Hailey wanted to know why Grandma came to the movie. LOL! Poor Mom! ;-) She laughed!!! All 3 of them thought the 1st time the snowman loses his butt was absolutely hysterical. I'm glad we went!

Thank you! We'll just hang out and run 16mm films, as usual. We always have a good time just hanging out together watching movies or TV. It's a blessing to be married to your best friend!

Oh my, you have been busy! All of those plans sound like a lot of fun, I'm happy you have been enjoying yourself. And I'm glad that you're husband has a break coming up. My brother delivers for FedEx, so I know what you are taking about.

It was a crazy run through the Holidays, but so fun! January & February are coming & we'll be so bored. Ha ha!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!!! Yes indeed - FedEx is in the boat as the UPS drivers. Crazy for all of them. Today my hubby is driving semi for his Dad. He had a couple short runs (2 hours worth of work) & then has to go to Cincinnati, which is a 4 hour round trip! Hopefully he has no issues!! I'm thinking he will probably be exhausted by the time we are supposed to leave for NYE! Ah well!

Good morning!!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!

I am trying to get caught up on posts, but mercy you all have been busy! :-D And I have a Reuben Dip to make & some cleaning to do... (Yes, I would rather catch up here....)

What is everyone up too for NYE? We are going to head out to the lake late afternoon (IF hubby is home in time) to do a little visiting & we'll grab a bite to eat there. I was hoping to eat at my favorite place, but I just read they are having a seafood buffet tonight....I despise seafood. LOL! We will stop in there, but will probably eat at the place closer to our trailer. Anyway - tonight we are heading to our friends party they are having out in their building. They live about 1 mile down the road from us, so its nice n close! Nothing major, but a little something to do! I hope you all have fun plans, or relaxing plans if that's what you prefer!! :smile:
