Good afternoon, Virginia! Has it cooled down any out your way? I hope you have a MERRY day!

YIKES!! I'm still 15 pages behind you all.

Yep, it has cooled down a smidgen. Perfect walking weather but yesterday i forgot my shoes. I was going to go out at lunch and find a cheap pair then i thought what the hey... I'll catch a lift home and try to do some more jigsaw :):)

That sounds awesome! I would have loved that!! LOL When we summitted Pike's Peak in Colorado it was -8. Wind chill was -35. About 2pm in March. I was in Heaven. :-)

Love Pike's Peak! There is nothing prettier than the Rockies in my opinion.

Critics hated it, but the public loved it! We have a few DVDs that we get out now and then.
Lately we've been watching a lot of Laugh-In.

Here Haw was the hillbilly Laugh-In. :)

I really wish I got RFDtv!!!! I keep seeing shows that I would love on there!!!

They run the Porter Waggoner Show, too.

Good evening, all! Wow you guys were chatty today, which I love, but I can't get caught up right now.

I am off to take a nap before work tonight. I will try to read some more posts tonight if I get the chance. I am praying for you all, especially for us all, in the extreme weather that is going on right now. Stay safe and warm everyone.

Talk you all either later on or tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of your evening! God Bless and keep smiling!

Happy Epiphany everyone! For our family this marks the last day of Christmastide. Most of our decorations came down yesterday but a few are still out including our nativity scenes. This morning my girls moved the three kings right next to the manger for Epiphany. Tonight is our Epiphany feast. For those interested here is our tradition:

although this year our feast is carb free thanks to my wife's New Year's Resolution :-(

Great tradition!!!

Good evening everyone!

Today was suppose to be the first day back to school for everyone in the area, but the weather certainly put a damper on that. No calls for me. Buses were cancelled in all districts throughout the area. The temperature went from about +3c (37f) to -12c (14f) in about two hours. It was quite crazy. Freezing rain turned to ice and snow fast. Times like these nobody should be on the road.

As for tomorrow, the forecast doesn't call for freezing rain or anything of that nature, but the deep freeze will return for a few more days. -27c with windchill. Brrrrr!

I've been fairly busy for the past few days. My apologies for not visiting. I had an indoor 4 on 4 tournament on Saturday and Sunday. We didn't play as well as we should have, but we had a great time. I'm still quite sore! No rest for me today, though. I have hockey tonight, too.

Today and yesterday was a little rough. Watching the Packers lose night really hurt. I didn't expect that to happen. It was a game they could have won. Well, there's always next season. I'm still proud of the obstacles the team had to overcome to make the playoffs. Can only hope to stay healthy next year and field the best team possible. Good luck to everyone else that still has teams in the playoffs!

Well, I should be going. It's pretty much time to eat. Have a great Monday evening!

Hey Brent what's a indoor 4 on 4 tournament?

All the ones are here too. I think only one here hasn't yet. As of dinner time, it hadn't even delayed. Hopefully they will change their minds.

That's nuts!! What about the kids who walk to school??

He has Dish Network. We have Brighthouse which is Time Warner Cable in our area. Brighthouse doesn't have it yet. Sometimes we go down to his house just to watch it. LOL They have some really interesting broadcasts. :-)
