There are still many houses around here with their Christmas lights still on, including ours! I think it's too cold for people to go out and take them down.

If I lived nearer to you, I would have been over there in a heartbeat to help try to get your heating unit back up and running~
 
I just got in from the supermarket a little while ago. I forgot to bring my gloves and boy was that painful! I am warming up with a cup of coffee right now but I do need to get moving soon, I have some chores to do. My youngest is home from school, she wasn't feeling well. She drove all the way there and then turned around and came back home. I told her to go back to bed, I'll see how she feels when she wakes up. I'm hoping I don't end up in the doctors office this afternoon. We have been there way too much lately!

Hey everyone! The day is coming to an end and it was a great day. Jordan's party was so much fun we are all full of cake and ice cream. We will clean the house in the morning!!! We are heading into the heart of winter now. Jan 10th through feb 10th is generally classified as the "dead of winter" seems like I read that on the weather channel blog..lol...I am looking around my house right now and honest to goodness I have not taken down one Christmas decoration. Did anyone notice that Hallmark Channel announced Christmas countdown 2014 will start on November 1st this year. So I guess it is official that the Holidays season will begin the day after Halloween which is fine by me!
Our weather is beginning to get more interesting! We have 50 to 80 percent chances o snow until sunday with the total amount measuring 3 inches which will be great to replenish the old brown snow that has been on the ground for the last 2 months...Lows will be in the mid teens to low 10's with highs in the mid 30's so it will be slushy wet snow but snow nonetheless! Well goodnight everyone we are halfway through the work week...talk to everyone tomorrow!!!

Glad Jordan had a great birthday!!

Don't worry, I haven't taken any decorations down yet either. I will probably start Tuesday the 14th at this point.

The bigger one is the one I got for my birthday, the smaller one I bought at Kmart on Dec. 26 at half off. The one from Ebay should be here soon, I'll get a picture when it comes in.

Good morning. My plan was to get caught up on here today, but you all have been BUSY!!!! :lol: I will try, but this darn work thing...

It was a whopping 6º this morning. Heat wave!!! HA! I hope you are all staying warm 'n toasty!! I feel freezing in the office today - worse than yesterday. Hmmmm! Maybe I'm chilled to the bone & can't warm up!? Too many days of COLD! We are supposed to be up to 40º with rain on Saturday. Bye bye snow! :( BUT we have a chance of flurries today & snow tomorrow, so I'll enjoy!!

I still have my Christmas up. Thinking about taking it down tonight - or maybe not! :D Not ready!
