Wow, I hadn't seen that map. It does look like Maryland is right in the thick of it. Looks like we'll get the edge of it, unless that snow area shifts. Stay safe! (And don't forget your bread, milk, and eggs!)

Good morning! Ok here we go, this is the latest map from Accu-weather; looks like we are set for a good snowy thumping tomorrow starting at 6am and not ending until Wednesday.

It looks like the Mid-Atlantic states are going to be right smack dab in the middle of things, as it stands right now, I am hearing a predicted snowfall amounts varying from any where's around 3"-12"....

Well, either way, after my last incident with the weather, I believe I will stay a little late tonight and just bag it for tomorrow and stay home from work. Better safe than sorry!

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

I hope it's good...I just love being at the movies.

Me, too. The whole experience is amazing!

Let us know how you like it!

Thanks, Snowflake. That photo is such a pretty sight!

You're very welcome!!

Merry Monday! How is everyone? I am a bit behind on posts, hope I've not missed anything to important. Did you all have a good weekend? It's been hectic here on my end and tomorrow looks set to be the same especially as I have parents evening at J's school tomorrow night.

It been a wonderful day. My neighbours opposite me have been waiting for their adopted son and today was the special day. I am so pleased for them. It lighted up my day to see their faces.

Have a great start to the week you guys!!

A Merry Monday to you, as well!

Congrats to your neighbors, how wonderful & beautiful!! Congrats to them!!

xx

Good morning, Snowflake! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Good Morning, sugar!

Good morning friends. I'm off for MLK day, and am going to enjoy it! The kids will be in school so I'm heading to the movies later. Have a great day everyone.

Enjoy the day off and the movies! What do you think you will see?

Thanks Sugar. I am going to see Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. I remember the other Jack Ryan movies (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger) had Harrison Ford. Hope I like this new fellow.

Enjoy your day too!

I didn't know he was still around! Now I have the I Love You song stuck in my head.

He got hooked on it at daycare and now has to watch it here at home. They still show it on PBS and a channel called Sprout, which is a 24-hour kids channel, affiliated with PBS, that my kids love. It is like Disney Jr. and Nick Jr. - very educational. They also show they shows and movies on Netflix, so he goes nuts!

getting cold here again too, temperatures are going down all day until we hit around -30c wind chill tonight.
Hope your mom is feeling better quickly.

Stay safe and warm, Star!

We're supposed to get a taste of it, too, but not like your area, Snowflake. We'll be in the teens during the day and the single digits at night. I heard something about a snowstorm, too. My fingers are crossed that your heat stays on. That's brutal cold coming your way.

Stay safe and warm, MerryCarey!

Morning, Festive! Enjoy parents night tomorrow night!

Congrats to your neighbors. What a special time for them!

Thanks, Sugar. We are going early to have breakfast out. After we finish shopping and come back home, we are going to stop by here so she can see how the construction is coming along. If I remember, I will tell you all a little about my friend. She used to be my classroom aide before I retired and has lived an interesting life.

Sounds great, enjoy. How lovely - I bet you guys have had some great times together! Have fun.

Thanks, Ryan! Lots of housework!

Yay!! Congratulations, Holiday!!!! They look so precious <3

I love the names Stella & Scarlett! But they are all so sweet, I say narrow it down to a few, and like Meceka said, when you pick out the baby & feel her personality, you'll know

Continued thoughts & prayers for you & Buster!

((Hugs))

Stay warm, girl~

xx

Love Lucy Fur!! Cute & funny, love the play on words.
Adi wanted to name Har D.O.G. (pronounced Dee-Oh-Gee)! Haha!

Love the name D.O.G. ~ I just might have to use that some day!

Good morning, friends! Glad to be all caught up. I stopped in after the concert last night to say goodnight, but I was experiencing the problem that everyone else was, so I figured I would get caught up this morning.

We had a great time - if you're friends with me on Facebook, I posted a few pictures there and need to post a few more, when I get around to it. We were two rows from the stage. EA was up dancing around and even got to shake hands with one of the singers. She had a blast!

Well, I have a lot of housework to do and want to throw broccoli-cheese soup in the crockpot for dinner. DH and I both work tonight, so my sister will be coming by later to watch the kids.

I will be checking in off and on today. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Talk to you later! God Bless and keep smiling!

we always have the pet at home for a time first before naming, we find the name just comes one day...
Pocket because when we got her she was shaking all over and I put her in my pocket to comfort and warm her.
Penny because she had all these copper spots on her fur.

I am the same way with my fur kids - I have to get to know their personalities before I can name them. I was wondering how your cats got their names - love them!

Our cat Sidney thinks he is a dog, he is the most loving, loyal cat I have ever met. If "his human" (JP) is in trouble he is by his side, he goes to bed with him every night. My sister in law brings her dogs over and he plays with them without a care in the world. He just enjoys life, he is such a joy to have around.

Sidney is adorable!

I plan to drive a friend of mine to Chico tomorrow so she can pick up some things with a gift card she received for Christmas. She can't afford a car, so I help when I can. She fell and broke her hip just before school started and was told by her doctor not to ride her two-wheel bike. Some kind person found out about this, bought her a gorgeous three-wheel bike, pimped it out (can I say that here?), and put it just outside her back door (They did this anonymously.). It was so much fun to watch her and listen to her trying to figure out who gave her the bike. What is really funny is that she thought it was I, and I thought it was another mutual friend. I am sure that tomorrow she will try to logically figure it out some more, so I know our trip to Chico will be interesting! I love it when what I consider a miracle like this happens. It really confirms my faith. TTY sometime after we return.

How sweet of whoever it was to gift her the bike! Enjoy your day out in Chico!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

This is earlier than my regular posting time, but Nancy and I are going to Savannah this morning, and I'll be all day. I thought I'd drop a quick note before we go. She's having a few tests today at the doctor's office, and they said to plan to stay a while. I don't think it's anything to really worry about, but I'd appreciate some prayers and kind thoughts for her.

In the meantime, I'm going to have another cup of coffee and a few more reduced-fat Oreos before we go.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Prayers going up for Nancy, and for you, Brad!
