Take care of yourself, HMG! Dinner sounds like just what you need. How much snow have you had so far? Do any of your daughters' workplaces close when it snows? You are such a conscientious mom, but be careful driving!

Well it looks like we are going to get some snow. A winter storm watch has been issued and it will be moving in by noon tomorrow. I am heading to the supermarket in a little bit to stock up on a few things. I may be busy driving the girls around the next couple of days if we end up with a lot of snow. Not too much else going on here. I can't believe how fast the morning is going by. I have been busy with chores and I just got a big pot of chicken soup going. I have been craving homemade chicken soup since I came down with this cold so I'm making it for myself!

Good afternoon, dear friends! Just getting done with the cleaning I wanted to do for the day, then I will finish the rest on Wenesday, which is my next day off. I am relaxing now with the kids - a new series is starting on Disney Jr. and they are very excited. We are currently watching Toy Story 2 until that comes on.

I hope you're all enjoying you're afternoon/evening. I am off to bake some biscuits, to go with the soup for dinner!

Between you and HMG, I am drooling for soup! I love pumpkin soup! Will you share your recipe? Where do you get spiced Parmesan cheese? My SIL makes a good pumpkin soup and serves it with a dollop of la crema, green onions, and freshly cooked bacon. I didn't think I would like it at first, but all it took was one bite! Yummo on the bread! I went to the thrift store just before Christmas and bought a new-looking bread machine for $7.50!!! I haven't used it yet, but I might make some soup and homemade bread soon!

Since the cold is most definitely back I have plans to make pumpkin soup later this afternoon. I already made the dough for the loaf of crusty bread I am going to bake ~ added a lot of black pepper and some spiced Parmesan so it should warm me up if the soup doesn't do the trick!

What brand is your bread machine, Star?

Tried to get caught up here, but not there yet.

We are clearing out all of our VHS tapes, thrift stores will not take them anymore, anyone have ideas what to do with them?

The last time it snowed we got a foot. I am watching the news right now and they are increasing the accumulation for tomorrow. They say we may see up to 14 inches. I am thinking about heading back out to the supermarket in a little while. I'm afraid if I wait until tomorrow there wont be anything left!
Two of my daughters work at the outlets and they are usually good about closing during a snowstorm. My middle one just started a new job at Aldi. She is supposed to work tomorrow afternoon in to the evening, during the storm. I'm hoping they will close the store early! I will definitely be driving her in!
