Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was 28° when I came to work this morning, but there was no frost on the ground. I'm sure it has something to do with the humidity (or lack thereof), but it fooled me into thinking it was warmer than it really was. I ran out the door without a jacket. Brrr!

I am suddenly swamped here at work this week, so I'll check in a bit later.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's freezing here in central where we currently stand at -3 degrees with a wind chill of -40. Brr!!!! It looks like we will top out around 4 this afternoon. So at least we are a little bit warmer than Snowflake. I don't know how long that will last though. They are talking about lows close to -20 next week. Not much planned here today. I have to go out and shovel at some point because the wind blew all of the snow right back on to the sidewalk after I shoveled last night. Other than that, I just need to my daily chores. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning!
Well everyone is off to school and work. I let the girls all drive today. I am a nervous wreck but I have to let them start driving in these conditions. It is currently 9 degrees outside, we will have a high of 20 today and may get some snow flurries later. The side roads are pretty bad but the main roads are a bit better.
Not too much going on for me today, typical day of chores. I also need to run to the bank and Rite Aid. I'm going to make spaghetti and chicken parmesan for dinner tonight, I also need to grab of loaf of Italian bread at the bakery while I'm out.

Thanks for the prayers! I tried to post an update yesterday, but I kept getting kicked off this site!

Mom is doing well. She had a good nights sleep last night. They should hopefully be kicking her out of the hospital this morning. (Brrrrrrrr - she may not want to go out - ya right!) I stayed with her awhile last night, walked the halls with her...her phone rang non stop...I told her that's what she gets for having so many d*&# kids! Ha ha ha! She's a loved lady!

My FIL's surgery went well. He will get out of the hospital, coming closer to home, probably on Saturday for rehab at the nursing home. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery!

[Holiday]

Well the doctor says I'm suffering from a bad stomach bug, mixed with head cold. This has knocked me on my butt, but it is nothing severe which is a relief. He says I am at the tail end of this and should be back to normal in a few days. One more day off tomorrow, and I should hopefully be back to work on Friday. (not that I really want to go)

I might take some time tomorrow and work on updating my resume while it's quiet and if I feel up to it.

What are your plans for tonight? We're having family fun night! We're having a homemade pizza, playing games, and watching a movie. After the kids go to bed, I will stop by the Pines. Sounds like it will be a fun evening!

What are you up to?

We are just cleaning up after dinner, and watching TV.

It's very windy out, and blowing snow. You can hardly see in front of yourself!

We just received some Hallmark Christmas movies that I ordered. "Mistletoe Over Manhattan", "The Santa Suit", and "Christmas Magic". Some of my favorites! I had been waiting for them to be released on DVD. I have been missing Christmas, so it'll be nice to pop these in.

Time to get back to folding laundry, hope you enjoy your night!!

Awesome movies snowflake! I ordered Christmas Magic for a friend, but not for myself. Hmmmm! Actually, I think I dvr'd it! But I never had a chance to dvr Mistletoe Over Manhattan. Maybe I'll have to order that one. I'm pretty sure I have The Santa Suit. ENJOY!!!!

We did have a great time - thanks. I've always said, my best friends are DH, the kids, and Ella. I love spending time with them. There is nothing better than family time and I enjoy it sooo much!

Just got back inside from shoveling the sidewalk. The wind has picked up and the temp is dropping. Brr!!!!!

We were out in that last night...we met some friends at the Legion. WOW was it COLD! I asked the hubby if we were nuts for going out in it again. (after getting home from the hospital & then visiting Dad at hom) Yep!! We were! Wasn't any better this morning either! -6º & blowing like crazy!!
