Snowflake, I'm glad your blood work came back okay and that you like your doctor!
HmG, I'm glad your results are okay and that you don't have to go back for a year!

These cold temperatures have been rough. Stay safe out there!
Currently I am going through the piles of paper I have saved on shelf in my kitchen ~ threw a bunch out already. I am making sure I have a place to put everything I sort before I go on to another pile. There are quite a few holiday recipes ~ since it is the weekend and tomorrow is Rudolph Day, I am going to have to test out a few of them. cheesy
Australia Day long weekend here and we are taking a camping trip to visit caves and thermal pools. I'm sitting in the car snacking on candy canes!!
That sounds like a pretty wonderful idea!! Have fun!! :sparkle:
That's great news!
My appointment went well too. I already got the results and they are normal. I don't have to go back until next year.

Thank you ~ I will have a lot of fun up until it is time to do the dishes. What are you up to this weekend?
That's wonderful, friend!

Great news, HmG!
Har & I will come help! :-D
I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! At least not having to awake to an alarm
Tomorrow evening, Adi and I are having a date night. We plan to go see Devil's Due, and try a new Mexican restaurant!
Sunday, I plan to relax a bit, and also get some stuff done around the house.
You?
A movie made before the Motion Picture Production Code was adopted in the U.S. Before 1934, movies in the United States were getting a bit too risque and suggestive (it would be about PG-13 today, though!). The motion picture producers adopted the Code to enforce decency in movies. Although the Code was adopted in 1930, it wasn't really enforced until 1934. After that, things simmered down quite a bit---check out a Mae West movie or Betty Boop cartoon before 1934 and one after 1934, for instance, or a pre-1934 Wheeler & Woolsey comedy. Or "Animal Crackers" (1930), in which Groucho, referring to an African safari, says, "We took some pictures of the native girls, but they weren't developed. But we're going back again in a couple of weeks …"
So pre-Code films are fun to watch to see what they were getting away with before the Code cracked down on them!
Here's more on the subject.
Wouldn't it be awesome to work in a Christmas store?
Goodnight, everyone - this is my weekend to work, so I'm headed to bed for a nap. I'll talk to you all in the morning after I get home. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening! Stay warm and safe!
God Bless and keep smiling!
Goodnight, sugar!!
Hope work goes well tonight~
Drive safe, and stay warm!!
That is my ultimate dream, to own and run a Christmas store. I know it will be a long shot, but we all need dreams.
Are you being cheeky to the boss?
