I have one for you to add to your list, it is called "Christmas Story" ("Joulutarina" not Ralphie but a Finnish film) It is really a touching film, if you don't mind the English overdubbing it is definitely worth watching. My wife loved it when she got sucked into watching with me.

I caught it half way through on HBO or Showtime one time a year or two ago, and never got to see it in it's entirety, and couldn't remember the name for the life of me.

That is my ultimate dream, to own and run a Christmas store. I know it will be a long shot, but we all need dreams.

Yes, we do need dreams! You could always start out small and find an antique mall that rents out booths ~ you could sell vintage Christmas items and go from there. It is a lot of work, but it is a foot in the door. cheesy

Happy Friday everyone. Temp was -1 when we walked down the mountain this morning. Wife doesn't like it but I love it. School is still out so our son gets to stay home and sleep in. A coyote ran across our private road in front of us Tuesday night when we were walking in. They won't bother grown adults but it made the wife a little nervous. Now she wants me to carry a gun when we walk to the cars.

We may get a little more snow Saturday evening. I sure hope so.

I just saw on MerryHolidays.com that today is Global Belly Laugh Day. Haul out those comedy movies and videos, folks, and yock it up!!

And as it's National Compliment Day, I think you all are the best people on the Internet. Every single one. Love ya!

I've tried belly laughing; it's not a pretty sight. I think I'll leave that one up to the Big Man. Ho, Ho, Ho! :lol:

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy finally got her results from the doctor, and everything looks good. She's so relieved! She still has to do some physical therapy for TMJ, but she's fine otherwise (like I tell her all the time!).

It's pretty doggone chilly here in south GA this morning, with a high of 42° planned. They're even talking about snow this Tuesday!

Thanks! It went pretty smoothly---only 8 pages, mostly boilerplate. I hope there are no "fire drills" this afternoon.

Actually, there was a three-alarm fire a couple blocks away this morning---we could see the flames from here. The firemen hooked up a gigantic length of hose to a hydrant across from our building. We figured they must be having trouble with frozen hydrants. The hose is still out there.

That is scary.
