Boy, I don't know what I have caught, but it is wearing me out. I don't want to be graphic, but I'm sick as it gets. It has been a long, long night. Started about 1:00 am and has been relentless since. I'm about to lay down and sleep because I haven't yet.

Y'all have a good day. I will check in later.

Oh, my that isn't good ~ praying you are better today!

Good snowy blowy Sunday morning MMC!!! What a weekend! I haven't left the house too much. We did go to the Legion for a little while last night, but that has been about it. Jim has been out all weekend. He played in the snow ALL day yesterday. Opening driveways & talking with neighbors. Lol! Brrrrr! This morning he is out delivering feed. UGH. He said he is driving about 45-50 mph & very few are out on the roads. I started crocheting a little blankie for our new pup when we get her & my sister saw it on Friday - she asked me to make another for her new grand puppy Charlie (male) who they just got yesterday...so I have been hooking on that all weekend! Love it!!! Great weather for that! Cooking & crocheting! I made Cheeseburger Soup yesterday - one of my faves! Thinking about what I can make today...

I hope you are all doing well & staying warm. I'm going to go back & read some posts from the weekend now!

You all have a wonderful day!!!

Here's Charlie:

Hi, Holiday ~ I'm glad you found a way to stay warm! I've been crocheting a lot this weekend, too. I'm finishing an afghan for my great niece, Zoe, and then I am going to start one for a friend who is ill. Cheeseburger soup sounds interesting ~ another recipe I need to check out. I've got a slow cooker full of chicken with cinnamon chipotle rub going ~ smells yummy, but tastes mild so the chicken will be good for all sorts of recipes. Charlie is gorgeous! Stay safe and warm!

I'm beginning to feel bad for the folks up north after heating about all the snow and the bone chilling temperatures. It was 70 here in Texas yesterday and supposed to be 65 today. But, it will be short lived we have a cold front coming in this week and it is horribly dry!

It is cold and snowy here, but it seems much worse than it really is since the previous 10 winters or so were mild. Sounds like you need rain ~ hope you get some soon! Have a MERRY day, Slim!

Good afternoon, Christmas family!

I am watching the snow fall and listening to one of the earlier pod cast ~ so nice! The snow looks like clumps of cotton falling ~ makes me want to go Christmas shopping!

Be MERRY!!!

I'm sure Zoe will love her afghan!

Praying for your friend who is ill, Meceka <3

The cinnamon chipotle rub sounds amazing!

Hope you, Palmer, Shaggy, and the rest of the furkids are staying safe & warm~

Good Morning, dear friends!!

How are you today?

We got another 4.5 inches of snow overnight. It is truly beautiful!!
Harlowe & I took an early morning walk in it, before the rest of the world was up. I just love those walks with her! So serene.
:snowball:

Adrian just left to go see his parents, and help with some shoveling and projects around the house.

So, Har and I are going to work on some things around here, and then watch a Christmas movie. But first, I need some coffee!!

Have a blessed and beautiful day!!

xx

Sounds like a great day! I can't wait to start walking again. Our streets have been so slick or slushy & our sidewalks are covered...it's been a LONG time since I've been able to walk outside. Never mind the bitter cold wind! Crazy weather! Hopefully when we get our new pup (and she gets a little older) she will like walking with me. Buster use to go 4 miles a day with me, but now he's just too old! ENJOY your day!!

Thanks, Holiday!!

Give Buster some hugs for us

This morning, we had to walk in the tire tracks, too much snow & the plows hadn't been through yet! It was an adventure!! :)

Your new pup will be a fun walking partner!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a weird day here with snow, wind, warming temps, and then plummeting temps. So basically, just a normal sunday here this winter. Not a whole lot going on for me today. Just have a few things to do around the house and then I'll probably have some shoveling to do later this afternoon. I'm also watching the last few hours of the 24 hours of Daytona race. It's my dream to go down there and watch it in person one year. They show all these people camping in the infield with their roaring fires in the middle of night while the cars go roaring past them and it looks like a lot of fun. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I hope you get there one day! I would love to go sometime too! My brother in law hasn't missed a Daytona race in 30 some years. He goes with a whole group of guys & they have a ball. They stay for a week. Nice little vacation in February!!

Hope you and the hubby stay safe in blowing snow!!! It was nasty here yesterday and they are saying it will get nasty again later today and the next couple of days.

Charlie is a cute!!!

Thanks! Actually hubby is on his way to Indiana (or maybe there by now!) His bulk feed truck broke down! UGH! He figure out it's the head gasket so he is trying to drive it to Richmond to be fixed! UGH! Hope he makes it ok!

We have a family friend that goes down and stays the whole month of February for all of the races. I get so jealous every year when he brags about leaving!!

Sounds adventurous!!! Hopefully soon ours will be good enough (no slush or ice) that I can get out there again too!! And maybe it will get above 0 wind chills soon too. Lol! Or maybe I need to stop being so wimpy!!!

Hugs heading Busters way! Hugs back to Harlowe!

Have a great day!!!

Thank you!!!

That would be awesome! My BIL is retiring later this year, so I could see him staying longer too. They rent a house the whole month of February & between all the guys &/or their wives they come & go all month. It's cheaper for them then a hotel for Daytona week! I hope you get to join your family friend on the trip some day soon!!

HMG - I'll hope & pray Maggie is able to walk with you again when the weather improves! Hopefully improving weather will improve her health as well!

Seawaters - sorry to read about your spill!! How are you feeling? I hope you heal quickly!
