I am quickly losing steam here, it was long productive day.
Sidney is still sleeping a lot, but he seems to be in better spirits. He is purring when we pet him, he was not doing that this morning. I will keep watch on him more tomorrow.

Thanks for all your well-wishes. I'm vegging with some DVDs. Not feeling sick, per se, but awfully wiped out. I'm planning on going back to work in the morning, if I don't have another setback overnight. If I were just plain sick, at least I'd know what to do for it, but this has me stumped. I'll just keep vegging and get plenty of sleep tonight.

Merry Morning! Happy Pines Day!!

Thank you for all the well wishes. I was worried I was going to wake up with a virus or cold . I still don't feel 100% but I am thankful I am not worse. I'm taking Vitamin C and Zinc and drinking pro biotic drinks so I'm hoping to beat it.

I don't have much on today. I ran an errand before and got rained on. I feel to drained to do alot today to be honest. I wish I could just lay down but of course with children you can't. I've just made my youngest his lunch and I am doing some laundry and tidying before the school run and evening routine.

Good Morning, Snowed in Friends!

And we indeed have snow here, but only 1.5" is on the ground, much less than predicted.
At least if we have to deal with frozen precip, it may as well look attractive which this particular snowfall does. Nice and powdery.

But be that as it may, let's proceed with today's count:
Days to the Season: 288
Days to Christmas Day: 330

Now hear this.
Two weeks from today will see us safely to the One-Quarter Milestone to Christmas Season 2014.
(Wow! Hard to believe we will be entering the 2nd quarter so soon!)

Well, with our digital thermometer standing at 19.5 degrees right now and the prospect of sub-freezing readings all day, I can only say I hope tomorrow will be better (which indeed it is predicted to be.)

Good morning!
Woke up with a migraine today, not a great way to start the day. My headaches have been so bad lately. It's probably just stress but it is exhausting, it just drains me.
We only got a couple of inches of snow last night, not enough to cancel classes. My daughter decided she will stay home today, she's going to have to email her professors. Hopefully she can make up the work that she's missing today. She also has to see if someone will cover her shifts at work for the next couple of days. She really needs the rest. They kind of have a rule that if you can't find someone to cover you then you have to go in to work. And of course, no body ever wants to pick up the shifts. It's annoying.
Anyway, not too much going on for me. Typical day of errands and chores. I am going to finish my cup of coffee and head outside to shovel and clean the cars off. My husband had to be on a job early this morning and didn't have time to do it.
I will try and pop back in later.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

This will sounds weird, but when I'm feeling wiped out, I'll often stick in a DVD of Dragnet episodes (the color ones from 1967-70) and just click on Play All. I don't have to concentrate on them, and if I drift off, I can just listen. They're easy to veg out to.

I e-mailed my supervisor that I was better this afternoon except for feeling wiped out. She wants me to stay out tomorrow so I can come back 100% on Friday. It helps me to feel better knowing there's no pressure tomorrow. Maybe I'll feel up to a real movie by then.

We just got a postcard from a neighbor whose church will be showing "Safety Last" with a live piano accompaniment on Feb. 8th. I'll talk it over with Mr. But with the cold weather we've been having, we'd probably be better off putting the DVD in the video projector.
