It's really thick out there but I got the sidewalk done and in between all of the cars. The problem is that under all of the snow, is nothing but ice, so as you try to push it, you just slide everywhere.

LOL!! Well we are getting freezing rain here now. So it will be even better!!

I really wish the weatherman would have mentioned this before I went and shoveled. The ice is a lot easier to get rid of when it's on top of the snow.

Good Morning, Mid-Week 'Pines Pining Milestone Maniacs!

And we are indeed closing in on 2014 Milestone #2.

Days to the Season: 281
Days to Christmas Day: 323

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.
We will find ourselves at the start of the second quarter of our voyage back to our incomparable Christmas Season with all of its wonder and magic.
SECOND quarter in just 7 days.
WOW!

Rainy and cool yesterday.
Rainy and warm today.
(Well, that's a little better anyway!)
Starting out, we show 38 degrees here in our sector of MMC.

OK.
'Pines open house this evening as usual.

Only nothing is really "usual" when it comes to Carl and crew.
Each visit is unique in itself.
This evening, the theme is based on Punxsutawney Phil's seeing of his shadow on Sunday, meaning 6 more weeks of winter.
In honor of this, there will be winter game contests at the 'Pines.
Snowman making contest.
Snowball throwing contest.
Obstacle course skiing.
(Wait. OBSTACAL course skiing??)

And this eveing's drink.
Well.......Bing mentioned it......Mocha peppermint mint julep egg casserole blend.
(Um. Don't think I'm that bold.)

Anyway -- see you there.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's a chilly day here with temps in the mid 20's. We ended up with about 11 inches of snow. So only about an inch more since I went out to shovel last night. The main problem I ran into this morning was the fact that I cleaned off mom's car last night when I shoveled and then we got the freezing rain. So it took me 45 minutes of scraping this morning to clear all of the ice off of her windows. Now I'm just waiting for the maintenance man to come through and plow so I can go out and dig out everyone's cars. The hot tub at the pines tonight is going to feel really good!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
