MerryCarey- Glad Mr is home safe!!! We've had 3 people stuck on our street alone this morning. I got 2 of them out but the third had to call his dad to come pull him out.

Very kind of you, buddy.

xx

Yep, that stinks. :(

I only got a half hour more than you. Darn late shifts. Can never fall asleep on command.

Sleep some for me today!!

Good luck!!

The car is back home, but it's dead. The battery's fine, but it won't turn over at all. We may be getting a new car sooner than we expected … can't decide whether it's worth the expense to tow it to the dealership for a diagnosis. It's too old to spend much on repairs.

And … the repair shop where it was towed by the police to get it off the street charged for the tow AND storage (it was there less than two hours!) AND a fuel charge. Bandits.

Snow total for this winter so far- 44.1 inches. Only 7 more inches to go to break the all time snowiest winter record!!! We are 4th place right now.

That's a bummer!!! Hope you can find one you like if decide not to fix it!!

If they are anything like the tow companies the police use around here, I feel sorry for you having to deal with them.

Lesson learned!

And the darndest thing … Mr. went out one more time to check the car. Turned the key and the car started. We only use that car for around town, so we can keep it limping for a few weeks while we shop.

Is this the Christmas afghan you worked on last year, the one I also ordered from Herschner's, or is it the reversible afghan?

Xmas, that's awful. I'll be praying for your safety tomorrow and other folks who have to be out on the road. Mr. will be driving to the train station when it's expected to be falling heavily. I'm so grateful that the nature of my work allows me to work from home when I need to. But I'll have to try to keep the drive way open so Mr. can get in when he gets home, and I don't know if I can handle the wet snow we may get. Oh, well, that's tomorrow.

Pretty good except for a bug that hit me for about 3 days last week.

I think if I adjust the number of stitches on the row before the pattern stitch it should make it come out right. For this one, I'll just fudge the pattern stitch or the shells to make it work. I don't want to frog the rows again and make the yarn ragged. I'll definitely make better notes this time so I'll know what to do next time! It's a gorgeous pattern, so I may be making another one sometime.

Your scrapbook project will come out fine, I know it.

The only thing we have to worry about is rain, at least until the subfloor is inspected and the framing is completed. We desperately need rain here in California, but it sure puts a crimp in the plans.

Glad to hear they made a lot of progress today!!!

 Not cool. Sorry, MerryCarey.
