Has another weekend really arrived so soon?
Can it really be the second weekend of February already?

Can we really be this far along in our count?
Days to the Season: 278
Days to Christmas Day: 320

And can we really be barely over HALF a week away from the one-quarter Milestone to the Season?
(You bet!)

Warmer yesterday, but not by a big margin. At least it was sunny and dry.
Rain is predicted for today and we have started out at 36 degrees.

I guess I cannot watch the morning news! They did not give any spoiler alert about the Olympics and blurted out a winner in one of the games! Grrrrrr!!!! I won't say who or what sport because I don't want to ruin it for anyone here if you plan to watch. I had to change my homepage on the last Olympics because they topped the stories with USA winners before I could see the event and could not watch any news. I wish they could at least say, "Spoiler Alert" so I can change the channel!!! It's a drag we have to watch tape delayed sporting events but I don't want to know who wins before it starts. Okay, rant over! :grin:

I am looking for a good online site to watch since we no longer have TV. Looked for the opening ceremonies as well but can only find bits and pieces not the whole thing.
I agree with the spoiler alert thing, the time difference makes it hard to watch live.

Snow moved in around 6:00 tonight....we are 4 inches in....



Not a lot to some of you, but it is to us. Tomorrow, we were supposed to go to dinner and a movie....now looks like we might stay home.

Merry Saturday!

I was only able to skim a few pages of posts. Sorry if I have missed any news. Things are slowing down a bit except now everyone is down with a cold in our house. I thought mine would be on it's way out now but nope it's still here! Work tomorrow so today I'm just spending time with the family and watching the Olympics. I honestly don't know where this past week went !

Ok well I'm off to take temperatures and hand out tissues Have a fun and enjoyable weekend my Christmas family.

Good morning!
It's going to be another chilly day, cloudy with temperatures in the 20's.
I need to go food shopping at some point today. I'm also going to take my daughter shopping for a few things for her trip. And I need to pull a suitcase out so she can start packing. I have some chores to do around the house too. I'm going to be in and out today but I'm going to try and catch as much of the Olympics as I can.

I was hoping to walk Harlowe early, because she is wanting to go so badly, but I just looked at the temperature at saw this:

(Insert sound effect) Wah, wah, wah!! It's supposed to be warmer today, like in the mid teens. Maybe they were wrong again, lol. I'll keep the snow!! Over the brutal cold!!

What are your plans today?

I am going to relax & get some things done around the house. Tonight, Adi has a mysterious date night planned.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high in the mid 20's. It's already started snowing though. We are supposed to have 4 clippers move through over the weekend with 3 to 4 inches of snow. So we may break the record for all time snowiest winter by the time this week is over. I have a lot going on today but what I actually get to do depends on when the maintenance man gets here to fix the sink. Hopefully it will be here soon. Then I can run to my sister's to replace some light switches and get some shopping done. My nieces want me to take them to Chuck E Cheese too but they both have colds, so I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe next weekend. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a cold, rainy morning here, and I have some work I need to do, but a pot of coffee and some reduced-fat Oreos have my spirits up. Lulu, our little cockapoo (cocker spaniel & poodle mix), is my travelling partner. Everytime I slow down, she climbs into my lap and watches my hand to make sure I roll down the window so she can hang out. It's pretty funny!

I hope to get in some time on the Camaro today, too. We're closer than we've ever been on the car, but it still seems like there are so many little things that take so much time (and money!). But it won't get done if we don't work on it, eh?
