Started off being a nice, lazy day. Going to just lounge around...no work, no emails, nothing.

Just snow, a movie, and a nap.

I've been busy with various things this morning, but hoping to relax some this afternoon. We were going to go out for a bite of lunch, but Mr.'s office sent him work to do at home (grrrrr! it's a weekend! leave him alone!) so we ordered a pizza for delivery instead.

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a cold, rainy morning here, and I have some work I need to do, but a pot of coffee and some reduced-fat Oreos have my spirits up. Lulu, our little cockapoo (cocker spaniel & poodle mix), is my travelling partner. Everytime I slow down, she climbs into my lap and watches my hand to make sure I roll down the window so she can hang out. It's pretty funny!

I hope to get in some time on the Camaro today, too. We're closer than we've ever been on the car, but it still seems like there are so many little things that take so much time (and money!). But it won't get done if we don't work on it, eh?

Well the maintenance man was here for 3 hours this morning and couldn't get the sink unclogged. His small snake wasn't long enough and his big snake was to big to go around the bends in the pipe. So he is going to have to come back monday when Jose and Jose are here and go down through the vent in the roof. For some reason, he didn't trust me to run the bobcat to lift him and the snake up to the roof. LOL!!!! Plus it's going have to be raked off and some salt thrown down before he goes up on it. So I'm stuck eating out all weekend. Darn!!! Oh well, I got my shopping done, so now I'm off to my sister's house to swap out the light switches and do my aunt's taxes. Talk to you all later!!!!

We have been on the run all day long and now home watching the Olympics. There was snow, freezing temps and cloudy for the past couple of days. Now the sun is out and 50 degrees. Boo!!! I hope we get more snow this week! We might but not guaranteed. I know those up north are sick of it but I am not sick of it yet here! =)

reported in November 2013 that a Winter Olympics official told sports journalists that reporters using any type of social media would be "considered a serious violation and lead to their accreditation being canceled." It was also reported that those caught using social media would be banned from reporting on the games.

The outrage spread quickly, and forced Olympic officials to clarify their stance on social media use. The International Olympic Committee's media guidelines website did so, stating "the IOC actively encourages and supports athletes and other accredited persons at the Olympic Games to take part in social media and to post, blog and tweet their experiences."
The committee went on to say the experiences "must respect the Olympic Charter" and be within the guidelines of other specific social media requirements listed in the rules, which stipulated what constituted "accredited media."

No apologies necessary!!! I really haven't had a chance to keep up with Olympic news prior to the start of it and it had me curious! I am glad they let up on it. I enjoy seeing the personal picture the competitors take. =)

Snow moved in around 6:00 tonight....we are 4 inches in....

Not a lot to some of you, but it is to us. Tomorrow, we were supposed to go to dinner and a movie....now looks like we might stay home.

Hi everyone. I made it thru the surgery just fine. I just want to say thatnk you all very much for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers that was posted here; your all a really swelll bunch of friends~

I'm a little sore right now and just kind of taking it easy for the next couple of days here at home. Hopefully, I will be 100% in just no time at all....they said the total (full) healing time is about 12 weeks. For the guys here, (not to be gross here) but the biggest thing that I can really, really, really say, that I did not like was the catheter and the act of me pulling that thing out myself... No sir, don't ever want to do that again, that was really freaky feeling that I did not like...

Other than that, I'm forced to keep wearing my pjs for several days, don't have to shave, I get to eat ice cream, watch TV, while sitting in the lazyboy next to the fireplace...I could kind of get used to this....LOL cheesy

I was hoping to walk Harlowe early, because she is wanting to go so badly, but I just looked at the temperature at saw this:

(Insert sound effect) Wah, wah, wah!! It's supposed to be warmer today, like in the mid teens. Maybe they were wrong again, lol. I'll keep the snow!! Over the brutal cold!!

What are your plans today?

I am going to relax & get some things done around the house. Tonight, Adi has a mysterious date night planned.

Good call not going out for dinner with the girls, I have walked out of a restaurant because the person at next table was coughing so much, gross. Going grocery shopping when you have a cold I can understand, you need to eat, after all, the cashiers are all immune to getting sick right? LOL But going out to eat is not necessary when sick, you can order in.

Hope you get everything done you want to today!

I hate to eat when I am sick, just because food doesn't taste as good. I wouldn't want to spend my money on food I could barely taste.
The other thing I won't do is call for a pizza delivery in a snowstorm, I would feel so guilty if the person got into an accident trying to deliver it while it is snowing.
