Yeah, the kitchen sink has a clog in the line somewhere. The Maintenance man's small snake wasn't long enough to reach it and their bigger one was to big to go down the drain. He doesn't want to climb up on the roof either to run it down the vent stack.

Ahhh, that really stinks! Hopefully they will be able to isolate the spot where it is clogged and then be able to open up the pipe for you~

With all the weather related stuff going on around this area, us moving, work, and now with me and my surgery, I completely forgot that I have a tax appointment for next week until they called to remind me.
Now, I'm upstairs checking to see if we got all of our statements and such and I believe we are good to go. Now I just need to sit down a couple of night to go thru receipts, statements and the check book to make sure that I have everything written down.

Tax time is just soooo much fun; isn't??? Just thought I would say something to everybody so that Better you can start thinking about that all that stuff.....

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all doing today? I'm well. I'm just a little tired today, but glad I had the morning to rest. Both of the kids didn't sleep well and were up by 4:30 this morning. DH went into work this morning, so the kids were scheduled for daycare and school, so I laid back down around 7:00 or so and slept some, then I got some things done around the house. I put some pizza dough in the oven and just pulled it out - smells great - I plan on making stromboli's for dinner.

How is everyone's else day going? What are your plans for the rest of the day? I am just going to relax and wait for DH and the kiddos to get home. I am back to work tonight, work for the next 4 days, and looking forward to the weekend!

Hey everyone...update on DH's cousin, that I told you about last week. She went to the neurosurgeon today. The doctor states that the "tumor" is just a cyst, but just enlarged, so he wants to watch it over a year with MRI's. As for the lumps she has on her lymph nodes, he wants an ENT to investigate those and biopsy those. Continued prayers please until we know for sure until what is going on with her lymph nodes. Thanks for your prayers so far!

Seminar preparation went well. Luckily, there wasn't that much reading to do as there was in previous two weeks. ^^ Had a nice chat with my mum about politics. Don't judge me - there is presidential election coming in May and it seems that the fuss about it is getting bigger in the country. We don't talk about political issues very often but I place many expectations into this election. Although I am still going to be in Scotland on that time, I am going to fill in on-line application form at the embassy's website so I could vote by mail. And surprisingly I also received a letter from local council earlier today saying that I am eligible to vote in Scottish Independence referendum in September! That was really unexpected because I thought that only Scottish citizens can vote. It seems that I now have to do some background research about all this independence issue. ^^

Sorry for bringing up so many political issues tonight.

I think I might go to sleep a little earlier tonight. I have lately spent my evenings reading too long and not being able to wake up in mornings on time.
I wish everyone a cozy evening!

Thanks, they tried going down through the vent in the roof this afternoon but since mine is hooked to my neighbor's apartment, they couldn't get it. So I'm promised they will get it tomorrow with either a longer snake they ordered, or a plumber.
