Good morning!
I can't believe it's Friday already, the week went by so fast. My daughter will be flying home this evening. We are expecting heavy rain off and on all day, maybe even a thunderstorm. Hopefully the flight will be on time. I would appreciate prayers, I've got that nervous feeling again.
Not too much going on for me today. I'm going to finish up my grocery list and go the butcher. I'll probably wait until tomorrow to the rest of my food shopping, I don't feel like going in the rain. Other than that, I'll be working on daily chores.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

I just got an alert on my cell phone about a severe thunderstorm warning in effect here till 2pm. Great. I just my driveway in good shape.

Elizabeth is going to Charleston, SC this afternoon with her best friend's family to see a play, then a fancy dinner. They're staying overnight, then shopping in Savannah tomorrow. This is the first time I've let my baby stay overnight out of town without one of us. But, we are friends with the family. They are a strong Christian family, and the dad is Nancy's doctor, so I feel secure with them. I hope they come home early tomorrow!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday!! Bosses are gone for awhile this morning. Woo Hoo!!! Today is Busters last day of peace...poor guy!
I work until noon today then I'm having lunch with my sister, then she is going to cut/highlight my hair! I'm long over due on both! Those are the only plans for the day/night that I know of. We'll leave around 8:30 tomorrow morning to get the puppy! Let the craziness begin! Hope you all have a great day.

LOL - I wish...my son is a horrible sleeper, so no. I don't have a recipe I use. I've never made it before, but have bought it several times. Just search for it online and I am sure you could find a good one. My banana nut bread recipe is awesome, but I am not sure how much rum to add - maybe by taste! LOL

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Well the warm temps have gone and winter has made it's return. We currently stand at 30 degree's with 40 mph winds. There are also some light snow showers around. I have a lot to get done around the apartment today and then I have to figure out what is going on with my kindle. It was plugged into the wall charging when we lost power last night and now it's acting all crazy. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Gray and rainy today, but at least it's above freezing. We're supposed to get some sunshine and 50s this weekend before the temps fall again Monday.

Don't know if it's the weather, or the long stretch of winter, but I'm kinda jittery today for no good reason. I hope I can shake it off soon.

Good Morning, Everyone! It's Friday at last! Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day for weather here, and Mom and I are going to a friend in Gamber to get haircuts. It's an hour long ride on the beltway, always much better in good weather. Afterwards, I think I'll take Mom to Baugher's Farm Restaurant for lunch. They have a turkey club sandwich with real turkey breast meat on it...not lunchmeat. And their fried chicken is just like Mom used to make. Yum!

We're supposed to have thunderstorms this morning. I'm waiting patiently for that first peal of thunder...I love thunderstorms!

Well it looks like mother nature is going to slap us back in to reality tomorrow night with 2 to 5 inches of snow and then below zero temps likely again by the end of next week. Boo!!!!!!
