Well I got my sink installed but the nut that holds the drain pipe on to the bottom of the sink, broke. So I'm back to not having a sink until I get a new one of those. Bummer.

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

It's been real busy around here, and I don't have a lot of free time during the day lately. I still check in, but this is the first time I had a chance to post all day.

I had to leave work to take Lulu to the vet. I think she pulled a muscle in her back. Bless her heart, she wants to jump up on the couch, but when she tries she cries. The vet said he thinks it's just a strain, and gave me some steroids. I hope it helps quickly!

My supervisor just called and wanted me at work at 7. I told him there would be no way, since I would have to leave in a half an hour and I haven't showered and eaten dinner yet. I told him I would be there at 8. He's hoping to have be out of there when my 8 hours are up. We'll see!

Thanks!! The maintenance man never showed back up with one so I may just run up to home depot and get one after dinner. They should only be a few dollars, so I would rather go ahead and buy it than go without a sink again.

Good Monday morning!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I haven't had a chance to catch up yet, but I plan to read through what I can!! I wanted to share some pictures of our Gracie - she's a gem!


She has been very good! She was only up once through the night Saturday but last night she did some whining after I had her out at 3:30 in the morning! Hopefully this week we can get a little more into a schedule. She had a bunch of company Saturday & yesterday she went to her 1st party where her feet never hit the ground! She was exhausted! We got home from that party & our neighbors came over with their golden doodle pup - they had a blast together! She is going to be soooo bored today!! Ha ha! Our neighbors were chuckling at my husband - they told me Jim is "smitten" with her! Lol! He is! So am I...

Aw, Gracie is so cute ~ I love her! I'm so glad Buster is doing all right with her ~ I'm sure he will warm up to her once he figures out that she isn't replacing him. With all the attention she is getting from everyone it has to be a bit hard for the poor guy. Please give him a hug from me! cheesy

HMG - Hopefully you don't get too much snow this week - if you're like me, you've had enough for a while! The weather has been so bad this winter! I hope that the search for a prom dress went well - how exciting! I remember trying to find the perfect dress for my formal! Is there a specific color she is hoping for?

Holiday - Happy Monday to you! Gracie is absolutely adorable! I love the pictures that you shared. I hope that you are able to get her into more of a schedule this week - I'm sure after a few more days she'll adjust a little easier! I was glad to read that Buster is tolerant of her - hopefully he'll warm up in time!!

Made - You are such a good person - how kind of you to offer to take your neighbor to the airport in the first place. I think everyone needs a neighbor like you! I'm glad you got to sleep in a little later! I'm sorry your sink is still broken - that's so unfortunate. Hopefully you get it fixed soon!

Good evening, MMC! I hope you're all doing well! I realized that I had 70 pages to catch up on since I've been here last - yikes! I just couldn't read that much in one sitting, so I've gone back to catch up on what I missed today. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! I have been looking for jobs every single day and applying for the ones I like. What irks me is the way that many companies go about their application process. I spend 30-45 minutes completing detailed applications to only receive a generic auto-response from them telling me that they've received my application and then I never hear from them after that! I guess it's too hard for them to take the time to actually contact someone and let them know a decision!

I think that I am going to have some more free time on my hands so except to see more of me around here!!

Not much going on today in CT...it is supposed to get colder this week and a chance for a little snow on Wed. I am working today and looks like my kids will have their first full week of school this week that has not happened in a long time.

I forgot to mention Buster - he is ok with her. He doesn't love her, but he's tolerant. She loves him! She bites at his face & he snarls at her! But she is usually pretty gentle with him - so far. Could be interesting yet!

Glad Buster is doing ok <3 Please give him a big hug for us!
He sounds like a patient guy, warning her but not acting on it. I bet they'll be fast friends.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high in low 30's and mostly sunny. Not a whole lot going on here. I was up late watching all of the coverage of Dale Jr's win last night. Then I was up at 6am to take my neighbor over to the airport to pick up his granddaughter. Right as I was putting on my coat to walk out the door though, he called and told me her flight been canceled. So I went back to bed for awhile. Now I just have a few things around the house while I'm waiting to hear when Amber is going to get in. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

So glad you were able to go back to sleep, buddy.

Happy is a bit heavier than most Wheatens...he is about forty pounds. He hasn't missed any meals since he's joined our family!
