4 Hours in the middle of the day without a post? Wake up everyone!!!!!!

LOL!! I was thinking the same thing!!

Is that picture from close to where you are?

It looks a lot like a town in Vermont we went to for a wedding a few years ago.

Not that I know of, I found it on the internet. It may just be where you've visited!

:-P

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is well today and have some nice plans to finish up the week. :] It wasn't too late when I came back home last night - I believe it was half ten in the evening or so - but I felt pretty tired for some reason so I went straight to bed. I decided to walk around Glasgow instead of taking a bus so I did plenty of walking. ^^
Anyway, the orientation event was AMAZING! I can't really put that into words. There are still 3-4 training sessions coming up - one each month up until July so I believe there are still lots of things to learn before the Games kick off.
We got our uniforms revealed which looked SO nice! I can't wait to pick mine up along with accreditation pass. ^^ It is such an honour to be part of this historic even in Scotland. :] There are still 136 days to go but I can barely hold my excitement. *breathe*

I should probably make myself out of bed, do my laundry and continue working on the essay.

I wish you all a nice Sunday! :]

Glad to hear the event went well! Hope you had a great evening, Victoria!

morning came way to early today!

Working at subway today, after this re training shift I will be working only Tuesdays and Thursdays there.

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday!

Good evening, Star! Hope work went well and you had a great day!

Good Morning, Folks.
Did everyone remember to "spring forward" this morning?
I just decided to get up an hour later.
(Anything to avoid loosing sleep!)

Well, the Weekend is half over and warm weather is back!

The daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 249
Days to Christmas Day: 291

Now under a week to go to Milestone #4, the 1/3 Season marker.
<< How can we be a third of the way to the Season so soon, Crown? >>
Well, remember, the Season count began running November 13.
<< Ah! >>
It's the beauty of the Season count!

Well, as stated above, warm weather has arrived at last.
It was sunny, calm and up into the upper 60's yesterday. A near carbon copy is predicted for today.
This morning, we have arisen to a temperature of 46 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Super Sunday, Everybody!

Hope you had a great Sunday, Crown!

Good morning!
It's going to be cooler today with temperatures in the 30's. It went up to almost 50 degrees yesterday, I had to put the a/c on in my car. I guess I was just overdressed, I'm so use to grabbing my heavy coat. The temperatures will be up and down like that all week.
Not too much going on here today. My husband and the girls will be busy working. I guess I'll keep myself busy with errands and housework. I think I'll visit my parents too, that will give me something to do later this afternoon.
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Sunday!!!

Good evening, HMG! Hope you had a great day and a wonderful visit with your parents, if you did decide to visit them.

Good Morning, Christmas family!!

It's going to be a beautiful day here~ it's currently 25 degrees, with a high of 40. Hope we make it there! Melt some snow before Tuesday when we are supposed to get more, lol.

For now, I plan to make some coffee & relax a bit. Ahh, love Sunday mornings at home!

I managed to take down all of my winter decorations this weekend, and put out a few spring things, and my regular lodge décor. It feels good to have that done.

What are your plans for the day?

I plane to spend a lot of time outside with Harlowe, do some cooking, and maybe read & watch a movie later.
Adrian is away on business.

Hope you all enjoy your day!!

xx

That sounds like a nice way to spend Sunday. Hope you enjoyed your time. :]

Good very late evening from me. It's a way past midnight here and I should be sleeping but I've been until very late lately so no surprise I am still awake. ^^

I just wanted to thank everyone for doubling up my excitement about the Games. You all are SO incredibly kind.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, yesterday's parade was...interesting.

I got up at 5am to cook chickens for the church BBQ plate fundraiser. I left there at 9:30, thinking I had plenty of time to get ready for the 11 o'clock parade. Then I found out the parade starts at 10 o'clock. I scrambled to find my brother, who unlocked his shop so I could get the '57 Chevy out, and flew over to the parade lineup.

We started driving, and after 2 blocks I RAN OUT OF GAS. Some folks helped me push the car out of the way so the rest of the parade could continue. So embarrassed. I called my brother-in-law. He came running down the sidewalk with a gas can! He had a 1/2 gallon. That got the car cranked, then I called my brother. He came running down the sidewalk with 2 gallons of gas. I pulled over again, put that gas in, then he rode the rest of the parade with me.

Goodness gracious. I started at the front of the parade with the other cities' mayors, and I ended up near the end of the parade...but I finished it!

I hope y'all have a great day!

That was quite a day, at least you finished the parade.

Well, well, well....long time no see...haven't posted since Thursday (Snow Day 4) and there was a Snow Day 5. It was kinda like a spring break, but it wasn't spring. I would say it was welcome, but after Wednesday I was pulling my hair out! But Bambina, Doc, and I spent three days together and Thursday and Friday it was Bamina and me....so it was good.

OK, so I'm starting it. I promised myself that I would be more on my game this year for Christmas. When we had the baby, everything kinda kept getting pushed back and back....gifts didn't get wrapped, lights didn't get up, gifts arriving on Chritmas Eve...we were a mess. BUT NO MORE! My promise is that I'm going to spend at least 30 minutes getting ready and organizing to-do lists, cards, recipes, etc. That will give me 16 hours of work time until the Season arrives, which is when I want to have everything done by. There will be so much more to plan for now with Bambina and her birthday being in September (another event in the Ber's...yes) so we have to start. It'll be here before we know it!

So I'm off! Christmas 2014 here we come!

Sounds like a perfect plan. With two little ones, that's honestly the only way I get it all done. A lot of people make fun of me, but it works for me and then I end up having a really like Christmas for my family and we do a lot of fun things too. Enjoy!

Good evening, Snowflake! Sounds like you had a lovely day planned. Hope you enjoyed it. Hope Adrian has safe travels.

Thank you Snowflake!
Maggie did pretty good last night. Still coughing off and on but definitely slept better. Her doctor said the new medication wasn't going to work over night so I'm still hoping she'll improve. I'll keep you posted!
