Thanks, Buddy!!! She did pretty good at Meijer so we went to walmart too. She was pretty wore out by the time we made a lap around there though and her foot was starting to drag some. So we are back home now.

Sounds like you had a good trip. I'm glad she is able to get out and walk and that you are there to monitor her progress! Praying she continues to improve! Have a great day, made!

A chilly and windy day here ~ I think it is helping to dry up what little has melted out there today so that is good! The damp spot on the basement floor has gotten a bit bigger, hopefully it won't get worse. I have to keep monitoring it, though, because once it starts to flood, it doesn't take long to rise down there.

I have chores to do so will bid all of you a good rest-of-the day!

I'm going to be busy this morning, my daughter and I each have doctor appointments. I do not like scheduling appointments back to back but I didn't really have a choice this time. Anyway, they're just routine appointments. I was also supposed to get together with my mother this afternoon but I'll have to see how I feel. I'm so tired, I wish I could crawl back in to bed right now!

I thought about staying at home first but since our attendance is monitored very strictly, missing a class didn't seem to be the best idea after all. And surprisingly, none of us was missing today as well. :]

Good morning MMC! Not much going on here. Shopping online for a new printer for the boss' house! Hubby went down to the Legion for their drawing last night - I stayed home, I was tired! The drawing was a must give, & hubby won $100! Was worth his trip! :smile:

I'm trying to decide what kind of soup to make for Sunday. My family is having a "soup sampling" - there will be 7 soups to sample, Mom made a sweet chex mix, sister bought bread dough to bake up (make the house smell yummy) another sister sent me a dessert recipe she wants me to bring. It's going to be a feast! I'm thinking about Cheeseburger Soup! Or Chicken Tortilla! Hmmmm! Yum!

I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday!!! :grin:

I haven't known anyone doing a soup sampling before but it sounds so good. Especially now when I have a big soup problem - cooking it every night and my flatmates think I am crazy. ^^

Good evening everyone! Despite the horrible wind, I managed to walk to the campus. I was wearing water and windproof clothes so I didn't get soaked. However, the planned field trip to the fish farm got cancelled because of the weather. The fish farm obviously is located in an open area so we wouldn't have enjoyed it if we had gone there. Oh well. Such things do happen once in a while with Scottish weather. ^^

I've just finished watching my favorite documentary 'Hungry for Change' because there was a free screening online. I am not sure how many of you have seen it but if you haven't, I strongly recommend go and watch it. You won't regret this, I promise. :]

I am not staying up too late tonight because the wind didn't let me to gt proper sleep last night so I have been yawning all day today. ^^

Good morning everyone! The wind is awful here today. My friend texted me earlier this morning saying that the bus to the campus is not going either. I have no idea how am I supposed to get there in a weather like this? I guess I will just walk and hope that wind won't blow me away. I hope none of you are experiencing this today - or at least public transport is going as usual.

Tuesday was my first day, but I am only able to spend a few hours here & there, between their schedule & my TJX shifts. So, hope I learn lots more each day!

Their software is so much more user friendly than when I was involved in Vegas, and all connected, which is great.

Got a lot done at work tonight, so the time went pretty quick.

Tomorrow, my baby turns 6, LC's birthday! I can't believe how fast these 6 years have gone. We will be having his party this weekend, but we will be having my in laws over for tacos and ice cream cake.

I hope you all had a great day, my eyes are having trouble staying open.
