Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,

Another quick run through all the posts.
Very slow day at work, I hope tomorrow it's a bit busier because today seemed to take forever.
LC had a great birthday, he was so excited all day. We gave him a nutcracker that we picked up back in December. He loved it, but his main gift he will be getting on Saturday at his birthday party.
I actually get this weekend off!!!! Wooooohooooo!!!!

Has anyone heard from Seawaters or Virginia lately? It has been awhile since they have been on, I hope they are doing well.

Hey all, just getting in again from working another double...Got my paycheck stub today, had 46 hours of overtime on my check (boy, uncle Sam just loves me....)! Not much going on with me, just work, work, work and I was also told tonight at work, to expect it to stay this busy, all the way thru the middle of April and possibly into May.

Lisa and Victoria is taking a bus tomorrow morning and they going to New York City (Times Square), to do some shopping; it's their first time there. I have to work and cannot go, that bothers me (them going by themselves) and I'll end up worrying about them all day... I guess I know where my overtime money is going, LOL...

I hope everyone is doing well, take care...:rudolph:

Good morning to all! Happy Friday too! ^^There's a way less windy here today which is great. I couldn't stand another morning walking to the campus in THAT wind. Nothing too interesting today - just a few lectures at uni and a stop at the supermarket for my grocery shopping on my way back home.

Good morning!
It's going to be partly sunny today with temperatures in the upper 40's. The mild weather will continue through the weekend and then the temperatures will drop again by Monday. We may even get some more snow next week.
I'm feeling kind of tired again today, thankfully I don't have too much planned. I will be working on some chores around the house. I also need to make a grocery list and go to the butcher and then pick up a prescription at Rite Aid. And since it's going to be nice out today, I may try to take the dogs for a walk and see how Maggie does.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

It's going to be partly sunny today with temperatures in the upper 40's. The mild weather will continue through the weekend and then the temperatures will drop again by Monday. We may even get some more snow next week.
I'm feeling kind of tired again today, thankfully I don't have too much planned. I will be working on some chores around the house. I also need to make a grocery list and go to the butcher and then pick up a prescription at Rite Aid. And since it's going to be nice out today, I may try to take the dogs for a walk and see how Maggie does.

And hard though it may be to believe, we have once again cycled through another work week and are ready for respite.

But first, the numbers:
Days to the Season: 237
Days to Christmas Day: 279

Five -- count 'em -- FIVE days remain until Milestone number 4, the one-quarter marker to Christmas Day 2014.
(Hard though that may be to believe!)

Ah!
What a nice day after several miserable ones in a row.
Yesterday was warm (near 70) sunny, dry and overall beautiful!
(What a nice begining to Spring!)
Right now, we stand at a chilly 33 degrees here in the capital city but should warm up shortly.

Sorry to hear work is continuing to be busy, but I am sure you're looking forward to when it will slow down. Lisa and Victoria will love New York. I always do when I go there. I will be going in April again and it will be DH's first time going, which he is very excited. Hope you're doing well - just remember to take care of yourself.

[Festive Spirit]

Merry Friday! Another week over! It is dry this morning so my youngest and I went to the shops to pick up a few things and then took the long way home so we could look for signs of spring. I just finished some house chores and now I am having a cup of tea before doing some work while my little one is asleep.

We have a pretty quiet weekend planned indoors. I will be working on Sunday so I am looking forward to tomorrow when we can all be home together at the same time!!
