Nope. My sister was going to go to the 2pm show and have me go with her to help with the kids but my BIL said he wanted to go so they are going to the 6pm show since he will be home then.

Poor thing. I'm sure you're heartbroken!

Enjoy it! I love my bacon and I love chocolate, but I'm not sure if I would love it together. Let me know how you like it!

Remember the saying, bacon makes everything better. cheesy

It may be spring but I saw on the weather they are talking about a possible noreaster next week, depending on the track it may take.

I saw this on AccuWeather.com today:

"The key to whether a major snowstorm will slam Boston will be how close to the Northeast coast a strengthening storm tracks. The city could see the worst of the snowstorm pass by to the east or will become the target of heavy windswept snow that could bring traffic to a halt. It is not out of the question that the storm evolves into an all-out blizzard in Boston if it tracks close enough to eastern New England."

Make … it … stop … please …

Good morning!
It is cloudy out right now but it's supposed to be sunny this afternoon and we may reach 60 degrees. Unfortunately the temperatures will begin to drop tomorrow and we will be back down to 30 degrees by Monday.
I'm having a cup of coffee and watching the latest news on the Malaysia jet. Can't believe it's been 15 days and they still don't know what happened, my heart breaks for the families.
Not too much planned for me today. I usually do my food shopping on Saturday but I decided to go last night instead. I don't want to go on the weekend anymore, it's just way too crowded. I'm going to take the girls out for lunch and then we're going to do a little shopping at the outlets. It will be a nice day to walk around out there with the warmer temperatures.
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Saturday!!!

I feel for those poor families, it is hard to believe in this day and age, with all the technology, that a plane just "disappears."

Thank you Meceka!

Maggie was coughing quite a bit during our walk so I ended up carrying her home. The poor thing. At least she could go out in the back yard and walk around, that doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Aw, poor Maggie! I'm glad she can walk around the back yard without problems. She might have to build up her stamina again ~ I will keep her in my prayers. Have a great day, HmG!

Good evening,

Long day today, but I get to say for a change, TGIF!!! A true weekend off!

We ended up watching "Frozen" tonight, it was very cute. After the movie I watched the Bruins game and they won their 11th game in a row and became the first team in the NHL to qualify for the playoffs this season.

We have LC's birthday party tomorrow at a local bowling alley, he is very excited.

I hope you all had a good day.

Good night, everyone.

Have a fun weekend, xmas!

The weather is gorgeous here in northern California with some gusty breezes. We will be having several days of rain next week, so that will delay quite a bit of work on the house. The shear walls, because of the high winds and earthquakes, (I have never felt an earthquake where we live since I have lived in California (40-something years), are going up as I type. We have already had several rain delays.

Dinner is in the crockpot: tri-tip roast that smells so good. Tomorrow I will shred the leftover meat and make fajitas on warm tortillas and also have Mexican rice and beans. Tonight, we will just have the roast, corn with bacon, carrots and rice with gravy made from the beef broth. We will also have toasted garlic sourdough toast and pecan pie for dessert. The Lear is ready to pick up anyone who wants to have dinner here.

I had a horrible night last night. Not sure what caused it. I was nauseous so much and was afraid to move around to get the anti-nausea medicine I took during chemo. It took a lo-o-o-ng time for me to feel almost human.

I am still having computer problems, but we just don't have the time to try and figure out what is going on. Now I cannot get my computer to print to either printers. What a pain!!! I have a feeling it is a problem with AT&T. People in our town are having a heck of a time with their new system. Some friends have been offline two weeks at a time! And of course they keep writing me to join the new and improved network. Yeah, right!!! They say they will give me a $100 gift card, but there is a downside: I will have to pay a $100 fee to transfer to their new system. I don't have the time to mess with them!

I know I have missed some birthdays, so happy birthday to Track, Snowflake, AuntieMistletoeDear, Undrtakr, sdkluger, storeytime, and everyone else whom I have forgotten!

I have been thinking a lot about CM3 and listening to the CD that I bought last year in her memory. Even though she is missed, I sometimes smile when I think of all her posts.

I have some things to do on FB, but I will try to keep this site open if the computer doesn't act up. Sometimes, the computer goes back to our homepage and I lose the connection. It is a pain!!!

Good to see you, Seawaters! I hope you are feeling better and have no more nights like you described. Take care, my friend! {{{HUGS}}}

So nice to see you, SW. I was getting worried about not seeing you on here.

Good afternoon, MMC!

Ummmm, blizzard? The only Blizzard we should be talking about at this time of year should be from DQ.

Good afternoon,

The party went well today, everyone had a good time.

I bowled for the first time in years, I forgot how much I like to bowl.

Just taking it easy now.

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday.

Happy Birthday, Snowflake!

Glad LC enjoyed his party, as well as everyone else. Enjoy the rest of your evening!
