Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good afternoon, MMC! How are you all doing today? All is going pretty well here. The kids and I are just hanging out, waiting, for DH to get home, then we'll have to decide what we're doing to for dinner.

Hope you've all had a great day and have a great evening as well! I don't have anything really planned on my agenda. I'll just watch a movie with the kids, until laying down for the evening, as I work tonight.

It doesn't look like we are going to do dinner. My sister's training class still isn't over and she is over an hour away.

what up what up....been a good Saturday here today....got a pair of Jeans and some new Nikes....she also bought a Barbie Doll (not barbie....but the type of doll) including a horse (oh how I hate dolls...hahahahaha)...also I bought her a gumshield for her fieldhockey game ( I want her to become an adult with all her teeth )........in the morning we visited Jones in the hospital....dropped by my grandma´s place........then we went shopping....and on the way home we bought some pizza that we munched on while watching Soccer.....and now we are watching Pirates of the Caribean......bsides Jones being in hospital...it was a great day.............

I opened up my laptop, and … no Internet connection. The desktop was okay, but the laptop was down. Take a deep breath, restart the router, and yay! Back up and running! I had fears of the laptop needing repairs, but thank heaven, it was just a hiccup in the system.



So far today: Weekly bookkeeping, digging out the spring clothing, packing away winter clothing, sorting out old clothing for the Salvation Army, two loads of laundry (wash, dry, fold, put away), cleaning out the front closet, getting lunch, doing some household shopping, picking up the dry cleaning … okay, it's time to hit the sofa with a mug of tea and a couple of cookies! I hope you're all having the kind of Saturday you were looking forward to on Friday.

Good evening, friends!!

Hope you've been enjoying your Saturday!

It has been a really nice one here! I met my sister in a small town halfway between here & La Crosse, went to the Root Beer Stand and had lunch. So good! Then we explored the town, and went to a shop that Mom recommended we check out. It was amazing! There are three floors!! And the lower level is year-round Christmas!!!! You can check it out here =]

Then, I enjoyed the beautiful & sunny drive home.

What a difference a day makes! We ended up getting 9 inches of snow yesterday, and it reach 45 degrees today, so it's starting to melt again. We're expecting 50's & 60's next week! Wahoo!

When I got home, Adi & I took Harlowe for a nice long walk. She met some new puppy friends, and it was so nice to enjoy the fresh air!

We ended up picking up some Jimmy John's (subs) for an easy dinner, and plan to wind down a catch a movie on Netflix at some point. After the WI game. GO BADGERS!!

By the way, here are some photos I snapped of the Christmas merchandise they had! Unbelievable selection. They even had some rare Dept. 56 village pieces, I will go back on a regular basis =)

Good evening everyone! Sorry for missing few days here but I got that tiny thing in my laptop from somewhere which made my laptop to crack. It took me some time to find someone who could fix it. Thanks to the IT guy at the campus who offered to fix it, and so I know have my laptop back. I am usually very careful about websites I visit and things I download so I have no idea where this little evil came from. However, the IT guy installed the anti-virus software which now blocks half the pages I visit. :lol: Very funny.

It's one of those nights (it's almost half past one am here) when I don't feel like sleeping yet. Oh well. ^^

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend, and sending LOTS of love. Keep smiling!
