Can't wait to hear how the show goes!
I watched part of the rehearsal last night. There was a barbershop quartet onstage that sounded great! Later when everyone was leaving and I was waiting on Elizabeth to come out of the dressing room, I met one of the guys. I asked him how many years they had been singing together. He said only since the practice for this play started! It was incredible to think that, just a few month ago, these guys didn't even know each other. I told him he should consider taking the act on to other events after this show, and he agreed that they are talking about it.

There's so much talent around us that we (and sometimes THEY) don't know about.

Good Morning, Practically Perfect Predictably Pleasant People Perpetually Pining Patiently for 'Pines Parties.

And what a fine 'Pines Day it is, with our temp at 50 degrees and the promise of a sunny and mild day ahead, with our high near 70 and little chance of rain.
(Now, if we could just do away with this pollen......)

Onward and downward with our count:
Days to the Season: 218
Days to Christmas Day: 260

We are barely over 2 1/2 weeks away now from the 200-day Season Window, and under 2 1/2 weeks separate us from the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
(What nice statistics to sustain us to this evening for another wonderful time at the house of Carl!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!
See you at the S.P. this evening.

Can we do Karaoke at The Pines??? I have a new death metal version of Little Drummer Boy I want to try!

Good beautiful Hump Day/Pines Day morning MMC!

I had an awesome night last night. After work I walked Gracie across the street to the park. Her best friend Lexi (neighbors golden doodle pup) was there. They are so funny together. They had a ball!!! After Lexi left, Gracie & I jogged 3x around the baseball diamond fence & we walked home. I jumped on my bicycle for my 1st ride of the year. I only got 3 miles in when it was looking like rain, but it felt GREAT! I ate supper while it rained (since hubby wasn't going to be home) then the sun came back & I walked with my neighbor & her friend. We had to stop at our other neighbors to see the HUGE crappie fish he caught. He had a bunch of them. I ended up with 7.7 miles walking/jogging yesterday! Now for a repeat tonight... :D (minus the rain) Buster slept great last night & so did I!

Wow! Your exercise have now made me feel guilty for not moving enough. :-o

Evening everyone! Although most of you are probably in mid-afternoon now.

Happy I got a bunch of Easter cards for a very good price. I decided to send few of them out for few close family members since I'm not going home for Easter. :]

Also, registered for free online conference 'Food Revolution Summit'. It seems that there are going to be a bunch of great speakers covering various issues ranging from health to food policy related. It's going to be a second this type of online event I join. I find them very informative and interesting. Here is a link if any of you guys decide to check it out: http://foodrevolution.org/summit/

I will probably pop back in later on too. See ya! :*

Good evening,

I am just watching the Bruins game now, they are on an hour later since they are out in Minnesota. I am so looking forward to my Nyquil nightcap at this point.

Late shift tomorrow night, I am not looking forward to that like usual. I really need to stop complaining about my job and find a new one. The comfort level of rate of pay, vacation time, etc... make it easier said than done. I would love to get out of retail/grocery altogether, so I wouldn't have to deal with Black Friday anymore, after the last two years my anxiety can't handle that part of the job.

5.5 minutes to go in the game, time to get ready for bed in a few.

I hope you all had a good Tuesday.

Good night, everyone.

Hoping work is going well for you today.

Merry Morning!!! Happy Pines Day!

Thank you for the birthday wishes for Mum. She had a pretty quiet day.

I have a few things I would like to get done today. It all depends on the children though. Hopefully I will at least get some of it done :)

Mid week already, I hope it is going well for all of you. Have a bright and cheerful day everybody!

Good afternoon, Festive and Happy Pines Day! Hope you're getting some of things done you wanted to and still relax some too!

There is nothing quite the same as the sound of a REALLY good barbershop quartet (or chorus) locking onto a chord---especially in person. I hope the quartet DOES go on with it! If they don't already, they should look into joining the Barbershop Harmony Society if there's a local chapter.

Full disclosure: My dad and uncle were both barbershoppers when I was little. I fell in love with four-part harmony then, and I STILL love good barbershop. I have recordings, but I haven't heard live barbershop for too long. In the 1990s my dad and uncle sang with two other guys as the Glade-Tones. (They weren't very good, but they were barbershop!)

We once had a 16mm film print of "The Music Man," but we finally sold it in favor of watching the DVD---because the 16mm print wasn't in wide-screen format, it bothered me that I couldn't see all four of the Buffalo Bills onscreen! One of them was always cropped out in the 4:3 format.

Good Morning, Christmas buddies!!

How are you on this fine Pines Day?

I am enjoying some coffee and watching a little TV before I start my day.

It is a gorgeous morning outside, and almost all of our snow has melted!
It is currently 27 degrees, with a high of 66!! Will be our warmest spring day, yet!

Wishing you all a blessed & beautiful day!!

xx

Good afternoon, Snowflake! hope you're having a great day!

My granddaughter just got here and she is watching Pup Patrol. The show is about an upcoming Fall Festival. I sure wish that was going on right now! I am enjoying the mild temps here but can't wait for Fall to get here again!!!!

I have a lot to do so I gotta run.

Have a blessed day my Christmas friends!!!

Stop in when you can, as well as post when you can. Your family is first.

Good afternoon, Star! Hope you're having a great day!

Good morning!
It is going to be sunny today with temperatures in the upper 50's. Perfect walking weather!
My laptop is finally working, yay!
I don't have a lot going on today, typical day of errands and chores. I will also be waiting for Maggie's doctor to call me back. I spoke with her last night and she is going to find Maggie a specialist. She is going to a radiology convention today and she is going to talk with other veterinarians and see what they think. She would like Maggie to see someone that specializes in respiratory. I hope there is someone here on Long Island for her to see.
That's about it for me today. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Good afternoon, HMG! Glad to hear you got your laptop working again. Hope you hear from Maggie's doctor and the doctor's together can get something figured out for her. I will be praying for her and you.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high of 60 degree's. Darn Australia had another late night news conference last night so I was up until 1am watching CNN. I was also chatting with my sister on facebook. They have had fun at Disneyland but my niece was paying for it last night. Hopefully she is feeling better for the plane ride home today. Not to much on my agenda for today. I already have laundry going and dishes done. So I'm hoping to get in a walk here later this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon, buddy! Hope you got some sleep later on and had a nice chat with your sister. Safe travels for your family and hoping your niece is doing better now.

Okay, maybe I shouldn't have just turned on the TV. 20 kids stabbed at a school in PA. What is wrong with kids today? It makes we worry about my niece's. I don't know if I ever mentioned it on here but there was a kid found with a hand gun at the high school here in our little town last fall. They said he was just selling it to another kid and not planning a shooting but it makes you wonder what the other kid was going to do with it.

Yeah, very scary. That school was close to one of the towns DH's, cousin's kids go to. They are pretty shook up about it. I remember as a kid, in elementary, a kid brought a gun to school and had it in his locker, said he brought it because it was his dads and just wanted to show people. At the time, none of us really thought anything about it, but with everything that goes on today, makes you wonder.

He did!!! I only got up once with him in the middle of the night to let him outside & he came right back in & fell asleep until 10 minutes before my alarm went off this morning! YES! It was great!! :)
Hope you are having a great day!!!!

I'm so glad to hear that! :)

Good afternoon everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I must say that Scottish weather has been very generous for us lately. There barely was some rain but mostly sunny and partially cloudy. And the thing is that forecast doesn't say anything about rain for one more week. Oh boy, I wish the forecast would stay that way. ^^

Booked my train ticket to Glasgow on Saturday. I normally travel by bus because it's cheaper and I like buses more than trains. However, my training starts early in the morning and the very first bus to Glasgow is already too late for me so I didn't have any other choice but to take a train this time. Oh well. :]

I hope is doing well today. Best wishes, and keep on smiling!

Good afternoon, Victoria! Glad to hear you got your ticket your booked. Hope you're having a great day and hope you've been able to enjoy some of that beautiful weather!

Good morning,

I will be heading out to work in a little bit, I probably should take the day off because I feel so lousy, but that isn't possible today.

I have to get my dinner ready and get myself ready.

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

ttyl

Good afternoon, Xmas. Hope you're day is going well and you start to fee better soon!

I just wanted to pop in and say good evening as I don't get to say good night to you all due to the time difference.

The day turned out dry and partially sunny. Tomorrow looks like it will be the same.
I took the children to the park earlier and we have just been playing basketball out in the back garden. We made the most of the good weather today.

I have started dinner so we will be eating soon when Mr. Festive gets in from work. I have not gotten much of my work done today but it was worth it :)

I hope you all are having a good day. I will be there early at the pines tonight. I'll be in the hot tub soaking away my aches and pains from our basket ball game LOL!

Sounds like you had a lovely day - I always tell myself that the housework can wait - time with my kids is more important! Hope you have a lovely evening!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth's dentist appt. went great, then she went to her first dress rehearsal. We finally got home at 11pm. It'll be the same tonight, then the first show is Thursday night. Bless her heart, at least school is out this week.

I still have lots on my desk to sort through. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good evening, Brad! Glad to hear Elizabeth's appointment well and her rehearsal went well. Bless her heart is right - I am sure she will be exhausted when this is all said and done, but she will be have so much to be proud of.
