I have a lot of seeds to plant, so hopefully they will be ok! EEK!

Here's hoping this is the last hurrah and you can get them in before the end of the month!!!

Last night, I was in the middle of reading the posts and watching the weather and the dish goes black. The rain stopped and it got earily quiet. All of the sudden, the tornado warning on my phone started going off, so we started getting shoes on and getting ready to go to the school. Three minutes later, the hardest rain I've seen in five years started and the town tornado sirens started blaring....

Talk about scared.

In the past, I would go out and watch the weather....now with Bambina, I got really nervous and uptight. All passed about 20 minutes later and we are good, but it was a little nerve-wrecking here. There was rotation about 8 miles east of town. As a general rule everyone in the community is aware of, the sirens sound when a tornado is in a 15 mile radius of our town.

All good. Just a lot of rain and high winds.

That sounds scary, I am glad it missed you.

I guess we won't go to Lake George now, CIJ takes precedence!!! cheesy

That's the right attitude to have!!!!!! Who needs to go on a vacation when you can sit at home and watch a drunk Valerie?!?!?! Not to mention Chad and his blue shirt will be back after their yearly 6 month break!!!!

The good thing is the motel we will be at has WIFI, so I should be able to catch a little of it online. I can forget about keeping up with the posts that weekend though. Lake George does have "A Christmas To Remember" store open during the summer so that will help me get through. cheesy North Pole, NY is only 90 minutes away from Lake George, so maybe we can head up there.

Good evening,

Another long 6 day stretch is done, and I am bushed. My Tuesday day off looks so sweet right now. Baseball practice for JP is in full swing, I took him tonight, and went on a hike with LC while the practice was going on. Tomorrow night we have a Pack meeting for both boys, these last 8 months have been the busiest I ever seem to remember.

I did make time to look through the eDreamBook, I love the ornaments, but there is one that I definitely need for my tree:

I just love it!

I am all caught up now, just watching a little more of the movie "Slap Shot." One of my all time faves.

Good night, everyone!

This girl is going to hit the bed! Long day! Have a great night everyone - sleep tight!

Goodnight, Xmas!!!!!!

Good evening, dear friends!!

Thinking of you all~

Thank you for the prayers for my Mom, I really appreciate them, and I know she does too. She slept much better last night, and had another Chiropractic appointment today, which seemed to help. Still having a lot of pain, but definitely an improvement from yesterday. Please keep those prayers coming! <3

We just finished dinner, and now I need to wash some work clothes.

((Hugs))

Have a good evening!

:tree:

Praying your mum's situation improves. Have a lovely time visiting this weekend. I am sure they will be happy to have you there.

Still waiting but got news that Jay is off bypass - they are waiting on the doctor. I can't stop bawling. What the heck??? Nerves!

From my sister:

Jay is back in his room, he did well but this is still a very critical time, he's still on the vent. It was a 5 hr. Surgery and he did do the 5 bypass. The main artery was 95% blocked. He said most men with that would come in the hospital as a sudden death. God has a purpose for Jay yet! Plz continue your prayers, he has a long road ahead yet!

I am so sorry you all have been going through this. Sending prayers for Jay's recovery. Keep courage my friend.

Good evening!
I'm going to turn in soon. I was up with Maggie a lot last night and I'm very tired. We met with the specialist earlier and I am glad we did. He was very thorough and really took his time with us. He doesn't believe she has COPD, due to the fact that she isn't responding to the medications and from reviewing all of her test results. He said she has a classic case of a collapsing trachea, which is more common in these small breeds. Her veterinarian suspected an issue with the trachea as well, so we weren't surprised. It will most likely get progressively worse. For now we will try and keep her comfortable with a higher dose of a cough suppressant. That is the only medicine she will be on as of right now. And we will be very careful about triggers like excitement, stress, heat, humidity or even frigid temperatures. Oh and I definitely can't walk her anymore. I'm hoping that I'll be able to manage it. Fingers crossed!
I hope everyone is well and enjoys the rest of their evening!
See you in the morning, Goodnight!

It must be a relief to finally have an idea of what is happening with Maggie. I am sorry it turned out to be something like this though. I hope the meds and managing her triggers will provide her with some relief. Praying that her symptoms don't get worse.

Gave me chills just reading about it! Thank goodness it passed quickly and you all are safe.

Made - How is your mum? I hope she is going well.

Merry Tuesday! Good morning! I have just skimmed over a few posts really quickly, I hope I have not missed any major news.

The children just woke me up with breakfast in bed. They are only 6 and 2 and they are not allowed to use the toaster or kettle so the result was a glass of milk and buttered slices of bread :) It melted my heart.

I am just popping in quickly before we head out for the day. We are going to Eureka , a children's museum about an hour away. It is a beautiful day, the birds are singing, new flowers have bloomed and not a cloud in sight.

Have a wonderful day everybody!
