That was interesting, we just saw a possum on our front porch! It might be a common animal for some but not around here. I have no idea where he came from! We saw one around here several years ago but not since then. He came up to eat some cat food we had on the porch. I think they are cool, I wonder if he will come back?!

I think if he's found an easy source of food, he'll be back.
I haven't encountered one close up myself, but I'd take the advice of those who have! I wouldn't get too close.

So glad you're okay and it wasn't a dangerous tornado. Scary stuff.

Last night, I was in the middle of reading the posts and watching the weather and the dish goes black. The rain stopped and it got earily quiet. All of the sudden, the tornado warning on my phone started going off, so we started getting shoes on and getting ready to go to the school. Three minutes later, the hardest rain I've seen in five years started and the town tornado sirens started blaring....

Talk about scared.

In the past, I would go out and watch the weather....now with Bambina, I got really nervous and uptight. All passed about 20 minutes later and we are good, but it was a little nerve-wrecking here. There was rotation about 8 miles east of town. As a general rule everyone in the community is aware of, the sirens sound when a tornado is in a 15 mile radius of our town.

All good. Just a lot of rain and high winds.

That picture has become my little Easter tradition here, I saw it and it made me laugh, just like the Santa/Easter Bunny mock-PSA video.

I enjoy seeing that pic come out for Easter!
This one is my tradition:

Advice taken!

I watched him again for a little bit, through my window! =)

I am just puzzled as to where he came from! There are no woods, creek, lake or anything like that nearby. Just busy roads!

I think they are drawn to busy roads!!!! At least, that's where you normally see them here.

Good morning friends.

I set my alarm to see the eclipse at about two this morning. It was pretty cool!

Speaking of the eclipse...

Carl called this morning and y'all don't even want to know. In honor of this week's unusual lunar events, Carl is debuting a new special blend called Blood Moon. And, just for me, in honor of it snowing in Oklahoma smack in the middle of tornado season, a second special blend is available tomorrow called "Snownado." I'm afraid!

I stayed up to try and see it but there were to many clouds. Boo!!!!!

LOL!!!! That camel is always looking for a reason to invent a new drink!!!! I'll take one for the team and try them out!!!

I woke up to a white ground this morning too! We can still see blades of grass poking through, but mostly white!

It DOES look pretty....if it were February!!!

It's the same here. Just a light dusting. Officially I think they said we got one tenth of an inch.

If there's a busy road nearby, well ... enjoy watching him while you can. To put it gently, they are not very good at crossing busy roads.

On Sunday we will meet in front of our church at 5:45am to light the Easterfire.....we then walk into the church after a morning prayer, holding candles that were all light thru the Easter Fire........inside the service will be held........after the service the people will have breakfast together in church.

Today and tomorrow, our church is offering handcrafting afternoons for kids....Kandice has been going there for the last two years and will go again today....She loves it.....they bake things there, they handcraft things and sing songs, too. While she is there....I will go to the stores to find the Easter presents

That sounds pretty cool!!! Hope you guys enjoy it!!

Holiday, how is Jay doing this morning? I have been praying for you all. ((((HUGS))))

Thank you CS! My nephew texted this morning saying they took him off the vent at 3am, which is the 1st step of a 3 step process to get him out on time. I'm not sure what that means, other than maybe they have a time frame they want him totally breathing on his own & that's a 3 step process? Anyway - it's progress. He's still critical, but hopefully getting stronger every minute.

Thanks to all of you for all the prayers!

Good Morning, Totally Terrific Tuesday Troubadours.

And Truly, Try Topping This:
Days to the Season: 212
Days to Christmas Day: 254

Barely over 1.5 weeks remain until the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone and just 12 days separate us from the 200-day Season Window.
(These markers creeping up on us are......well......creepy!)

One more nice day before the bottom falls out.
The weather service is now talking 32 degrees for our low tomorrow.
BRRRRR! Not fair, Mother Nature!
(Of course, it's not nice to claim Mother Nature isn't fair.)
Right now, a heavy rain with lightning has just ended and our thermometer indicates it is 66 degrees here in the capital city.

Try To Trap That Tremendously Terrific Tuesday Today!
OK, Guys?

Enjoy that nice day, Crown!!!!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
My youngest has off this week for Spring break so I decided to stay in bed a little bit later this morning. Bentley didn't wake me up and Maggie had a good night. I gave her a higher dose of the cough suppressant last night and I think it may have helped.
I don't have too much going on today. I wanted to run to the supermarket but we are expecting showers/storms all day, so I will probably put it off until tomorrow. I'll just be working on some chores around the house.
You were all very chatty last night, I will be back to catch up.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Glad he is off the vent!!! Still praying for all of you.

Just got a new update from my sis:

Jay said he had a wild night last night! They took the vent out at around 3 am, they pulled the balloon pump from his leg this morning around 8:30. He will need to lay flat for 6 hrs. after that. So far so good! Keep sending prayers! I have to say he is getting really good care here:)

Made - How is your mum? I hope she is going well.

She is doing pretty good. Her back is giving her some trouble because her right foot is still weak and that is causing her to walk a little lopsided. Other than that though, she is back to normal.

Merry Tuesday! Good morning! I have just skimmed over a few posts really quickly, I hope I have not missed any major news.

The children just woke me up with breakfast in bed. They are only 6 and 2 and they are not allowed to use the toaster or kettle so the result was a glass of milk and buttered slices of bread :) It melted my heart.

I am just popping in quickly before we head out for the day. We are going to Eureka , a children's museum about an hour away. It is a beautiful day, the birds are singing, new flowers have bloomed and not a cloud in sight.

Have a wonderful day everybody!

Aww, that was sweet of them!!!! Hope you had a great time at the museum!!!!!
