Good Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I took the day off yesterday and spent the day in Savannah with Nancy. We rarely have time alone, so although we went to Walmart and a doctor's appointment, we had a good time. When we got home, we went to our nephew's T-ball game, then we took him to McDonald's. Not a bad day!

You sound like Wayne and I! We think it's funny how we can take mundane task, grocery shopping, cooking, chores and more and have the best time while doing it!!! I think people in public think we are nuts because we seemed to be having such a good time grocery shopping. We cut up too much, I guess! Ha ha!

I am glad you two had some alone time and enjoyed it!

I got grocery shopping done today to free up some fun time with Wayne tomorrow. I want to get the lawn mowed so he don't have to mess with it this weekend but having some issues with it! I don't know what is wrong with it so it looks like Wayne will have to get it going and mow over the weekend. Blah!

I also went by Lowes and they had lots of flowers marked down to a buck so I picked up a few. A friend of mine is a beekeeper and encouraging people to plant lots of flowers so the bees can thrive! I will do my part, even if it's just a little bit!

Good morning MMC! As Brad said a good Good Friday to all!



I am cruising right along this morning - even though I slept in until after 8! I got the bathroom upstairs all clean, the toilet area & shower in the main bath is done - Lexi came over to play & gracie looked like a wet dish rag after being rolled around in the wet grass, but she has been snoozing every since!! Kinda nice this morning! I got all the eggs boiled & the stuffing for deviled eggs is all mixed up, just need to add the yolks. Dishes are done - for now. I am working on a Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake right now. This is a new recipe I have never tried before & I'm making it for Jims family. It makes me a little nervous b/c they are the most picky eaters - ever!! What am I thinking??? :lol:

Niles (on the left) is the one we rescued from the shelter. We have had Meca for nearly 13 years. Niles went from living in the streets to owning his own home! Yes, my animals own a house, they just allow us humans to live in it! That's the way I look at it!

I cannot believe that little Niles was homeless for nearly 5 years.. He was so skinny when we got him. I cannot imagine life without him! He is glued to me all the time, in my lap right now! Meca is laying next to me.

This is not even their crate but they love sleeping in it. We had used this for Maris when we were crate training her, which she does not need anymore. I went ahead and left it there and opened. They go in and out of it all day.
