Good Morning, Everyone.
Just had a shock.
Ready?
Hold on to your mistletoe (and your mistlefinger, too).
It's about our next Milestone.
But first:
Days to the Season: 198
Days to Christmas Day: 240
Now. Here goes.......
Our next marker is -- THE ONE HALF POINT TO THE SEASON!
Yep. I double-checked the chart.
May 15 all right.
Look for yourselves.
(Now just let that sink in. Then realize that's barely over 2 weeks away!!)
OK.
The severe weather system that was to our south and west is set to move in here. Hopefully, it will be of reduced velocity. Lots of rain in the forecast for the next couple of days, however. (Just in time for our trip to the coast!)
For now, we record 54 degrees on our back door thermometer.
Have a Terrific Tuesday and I will see you here Saturday morning after leaving you in Ryan's capable hands!
I have seen this picture but do not know the story behind it. Sure is cute!
Found it! It was an owl. Boy, this takes me back, thanks!

Hope y'all get to see it!
I know just how she feels ! ((((HUGS)))) for her.Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Elizabeth is still awfully sick. It's not the flu, but she's coughing & sneezing & wheezing terribly. The doctor prescribed antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. The poor thing came to our room at 4am coughing, bless her heart. I wish I could bear that sickness for her. :-(
We're planning to go to our nephew's T-ball game this afternoon, but it looks like that bad weather is coming our way, too. I don't think it's supposed to be as bad by the time it gets here, though. Our corporate office is in Birmingham, and as a result I have a lot of friends in that area. They said it got pretty rough, but I don't know anyone who had any damage to speak of.
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
pray you are feeling better today ((((HUGS))))Worrying about all of you in the Southland. I heard that more severe weather is due today. Check in when you can and let us know that you're okay! It was so upsetting to read about the town that had just recovered, and got hit again. So tragic to lose everything, then to lose everything a second time. As CAH mentioned, it's a good reason to count your blessings if you have a roof over your head and are safe.
Rough day at work yesterday---got out of the office at 9:15 p.m., and worked all day with a headache and ringing in my ears. Better this morning.
I have not seen that one for a long time, thanks!Found it! It was an owl. Boy, this takes me back, thanks!

I do appreciate you letting me know! It is their most popular movie and I do love the music but as I was telling you, my favorite is Help! I laughed all the way through that one. I have all their movies. They are suppose to finally release Let It Be on DVD and cannot wait to own that!
I hope to go and see this on the big screen!!!
I forgot to mention this but it was a live Christmas tree she kept up until July. She said it did not die until then! Awesome!
Merry Morning!!!
I hope everyone is doing well. I must carry on with working today. I also want to take my little one to the park and get a couple house chores done. Maybe I will get some time to pop in later.
Thankfully we are having dry weather so it has given me the chance to leave the doors and windows open to dry out the kitchen !
Hope today goes the way you want it to!

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!!!
I just had my coffee while sitting on the porch with the kitties. The weather feels nice and cool right now. I need to get some things done around the house today. I am going to blast some music and dance around the house with my granddaughter while getting my chores done!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I LOVE the dancing cat!
Have you seen the LOLcat it was derived from? Mr. loves it. (We enjoy the cartoon it's referring to!)

getting better thanks, still a cough but that is getting less and now actually have energy again. Going into work tomorrow so will see how that goes.
Good morning!
We are expecting showers today with a high of 50 degrees. Lots more rain heading our way tomorrow.
Typical day here. I already went to the supermarket this morning. Love going early, it was empty. I still have to run to Target for a few things then back home for daily chores.
My husband told me he was determined to have the kitchen cabinets installed by May 11th (our anniversary) Well that's not going to happen. Way to get my hopes up! The finisher told him he will have the cabinets for a few weeks. Oh well. Whats a few more weeks at this point. Sigh. Hubby better plan something good on our anniversary to make up for it!
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
