Christmas Countdown - 2014

Wow! I give up! I feel so depleted, no energy whatsoever! I did manage to get a few things done.

Oh well, just make the best of it! My granddaughter and I have been hanging out on the couch watching the birds at the bird feeder and birdbath. We are also going online trying to identify a few of the birds that we don't recognize. My granddaughter even put a blanket over me and told me to just rest! cheesy

I think I am going to pop in a Christmas Yule Log DVD while we do this!

Hopefully my energy will return shortly and I can get back to work, for now, just going to enjoy some rest with my granddaughter!

Good afternoon MMC! I'm running behind today! I see I have 10 pages to catch up on - you gabby people! :lol: Hope you are all having a great day. I have had too many bosses in the office today, but it's is a GORGEOUS day! Just perfect! Maybe I'll do some windows this afternoon! Gracie had her 1st lesson at lunch with the wireless fence. Level 2 did not phase her at all. I turned it up to level 3 & she didn't care for that at all. Poor little girl! She went under the patio table afterwards (which isn't unusual) I will let Jim do the lesson tonight. I can't be the mean one all the time! Ha ha! I'm going with Mom & my sis tonight to see God's Not Dead. I've heard lots of good about it, so hopefully it's a good one! Jim is going mushroom hunting after work if it's not raining. Hopefully the severe storms they are calling for will miss us! It's so nice now, it's hard to imagine it getting bad!

LOL!!!!! I had the fan running and all of a sudden it just stopped. So I walked over to it and just shook it some and all of a sudden flames started shooting out of the back of it around the speed switch and out the top around the oscillating button.

I just unplugged it and blew into the back of it and the flames went out.

Didn't even singe my hair!!! :lol:

LOL!!!!! I just gave up on the cleaning. My sister called and she is bringing in my niece's while my BIL takes her to the ER. She was diagnosed with Pleurisy last week and she said it's gotten so bad that can barely breathe. So the doctor's office is sending her in to make sure she doesn't have a partially collapsed lung.

Prayers for your sister, buddy. Keep us posted.

Good afternoon all! Just thought I'd get on to say something about this; evidently there's such a security hole in Internet Explorer right now that Homeland Security is recommending you not use it. Here's the story from their page...click here. I wouldn't have known about it, only I logged into our online refill program at the doctor's office where I work, and our online refill provider was refusing Internet Explorer until the problem was taken care of. I'm not enough of a tech guru to understand the whys and wherefores of all this, but I thought it might be important enough to let you guys know. I can't have my Christmas Friends being brought down by (Bah! Hum-) Bugs now, can I?

(BTW; we tend to use Firefox in the office, so we're all safe and sound!)

Thanks!!! Now instead of pleurisy they are saying she has Costochondritis. Which is basically a inflammation of the cartilage around the ribs.

That's a very painful ailment! I had a terrible time with that many years ago until it was diagnosed. A prescription cleared it up.

Hi everyone I hope all is well.I haven't posted in a long time but I have been here reading along with everyone. it's been a rough start to the new year our middle teenager is really putting us through some trying times , It has to get better eventually I hope . Christmas in July will be here soon enough and maybe by then things will be good.

To make the best of it my granddaughter and I did watch the birds at the bird feeders and bird bath out the window while I was resting. I even brought out a couple of binoculars and it made her feel like we were doing some serious bird watching! I did play the Johnny Mathis Christmas Yule Log DVD while we were doing this. It was fun!

Anyway, I need to rest up and get a good nights sleep so I can feel better tomorrow!

Wow!! Someone else actually has had it!!! We like to kid her that she gets stuff that no normal person has ever had before.

She was already on a anti inflammatory for the pleurisy but they went ahead and gave her a stronger one and a pain pill.

Those darn news stations always starting rumors!!! I just talked to my sources at the North Pole and they assured me that Rudolph is fine. There was a close call the other day but it was just a normal collision avoidance drill!!!

Well if we think back to the poor CIJ incident... :lol:
