The major storm seems to have fizzled out and it looks like a light to moderate rainfall will occur. That is good as the water table is still quite high and I do not want Shaggy to get soaked. He still insists on sleeping out in wet weather.

Off to do chores and a project or two.

MERRY dreams!!!

I didn't end up buying it, I am going to keep an eye on it just in case the price drops more on it.

Hope it discounts soon!

Good evening,

Busy, busy, I just quickly went through the posts, just too tired to reply to many of them.

JP had baseball practice tonight, he took a batted ball off the face. He has a fat lip and you can see the baseball's stitches "imprinted" on his face. He is okay, I think more embarrassed than anything. Just a reminder he needs to pay attention at all times to the ball, and his coach, he was fooling around when it happened. The good thing is I think the lesson has been learned.

Day off tomorrow.

Good night, everyone.

Poor JP! Hope is still doing okay!!!

Well we can't have a qvc party with out glitter. So I'm thinking a sparkly ice bar theme.

Good morning!
It is going to be partly sunny today with a high of 63 degrees. I'm going to try and get out there for a walk later this afternoon and enjoy the weather.
Molly & Maggie have a groomer appointment this morning. This the first appointment with their new groomer, I hope it goes well!
Typical day otherwise, I have chores to do around the house. I also need to go to the supermarket at some point to pick up a few things.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Hope the appointment went well!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My May city council meeting was last night, and we finally had an uneventful meeting. As I mentioned, our city is planning a celebration on June 7 in honor of the county's 100th anniversary. We'll have passenger train rides from our depot, street vendors, etc. Last night, the council asked my band to play for a street dance that night. LOL! that would be a lot of fun, but I'm afraid it's too short-notice. We have members in Birmingham, Atlanta and Statesboro. They'll all come for a gig, but they need more than a couple weeks notice. Maybe, though.

One of my co-workers was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday, and is in surgery this morning, so I'd appreciates prayers and positive vibes for Trey and his family.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Prayers for your co-worker and his family, Brad. Keep us updated in his condition.

I just noticed I crossed the 25,000 post mark at some point recently! The "fun and games" posts add up! :)

Congrats!!!

He was fine this morning, I think he was mostly embarrassed. He didn't want to explain at school why he had a fat lip. I told him the story when I was in high school and had a bicycle accident and had cuts and scratches on my face and a bald spot on the side of my head from kissing the pavement.

That was so right of you to tell him the story. I'm sure it truly put him at ease.

Well the mri shows she most likely has a bleed into the muscle in her shoulder. Ortho is going to be in here soon to check everything out for certain. She'll be in here again tonight though.

Sorry to hear that, buddy. Praying!

((Hugs))

Good afternoon, MMC!

Looks like a lot of rain is headed my way ~ glad to be home. Made an extra-strong pot of coffee as I have a lot to do tonight.

Be MERRY!

Stay safe & dry, friend!

Have a merry & productive evening!!

So sorry she doesn't get to go home tonight. Sending hugs and prayers your way!

Heading to the Pines. After seeing the ortho doctor stick a 5 inch long needle into my mom's shoulder, I need a drink!!! LOL!!!

He wasn't able to get much blood out of it but did put lidocane in it to help numb the pain. They are going to do some therapy with her tomorrow and he will be back in to check on her before sending her home.

We need an MMC convention!

And when there is---if we can make it, we'll bring a projector and some rare Christmas films! I'd love to do a film show for a Christmas crowd!

Ryan and Brad, please keep us posted. Continuing to think about you.

The Bee is over, and Elizabeth placed 4th out of 20, while Jacob bombed his first word. He went in bragging about not needing to refresh his mind with the list of words and blew it with "hallelujah". To tell the truth, I'd probably have to look that one up, too.

My co-worker that was in the motorcycle accident had one of several surgeries to come. Several of the vertebrae in his neck were broken, along with several ribs and a shattered arm. He also damaged an artery in his neck and has several blood clots forming as a result of all this trauma. The doctors did a surgery to try to stabilize the broken vertebrae in his neck, screwing plates across each one on the "front side" of his neck. When he's recovered form that surgery, they are going to do the same thing on the back side on his neck. Currently, he can't feel his hands or fingers, so they are hoping that fusing his neck will help with that.

More info when I have it. Have a great evening, all!
