Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms out there!

I had a super busy day yesterday, working on my sign rental business, and trying to get the pool ready for the summer. As it turns out, the local pool salesman is a sign rental customer of mine. So when I went in with my water sample, I guess he decided it was time to get some of his money back. $190 later, I've dumped 20 pounds of different chemicals in the pool. Grrrr.

Now we have to get ready for church. I ran out yesterday and picked up a couple corsages for Nancy & mom for church. I know it's an outdated tradition, but I like it. We're going to Savannah after church to eat and shop around. It's become a tradition of ours.

Good morning!
I don't have a lot of time but I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!
We will be heading to my parents house for brunch this morning. I need to get off the computer and run to the bakery for a few things, then back home to make quiche to bring to moms.
This is an extra special day for me because it is also our 24th wedding anniversary. We will be going out to dinner this evening to celebrate.
I will pop back in later.

Omg!!!! What a day!!! I've been working on my mom's car since 10am this morning. Me and my cousin started on the fuel pump at 1pm and since then, we've had to drop the fuel tank 4 times. Every time we have fixed one leak another has popped up. At this point, everything on top of the tank is new expect for the one hose that is leaking. I couldn't find it tonight though. So I will have to try in the morning when more than autozone is open. If not, I guess it will be off to the dealer on monday. I really want to get this knocked out tomorrow though. Well as long as my cousin isn't to busy with stuff for mothers day. I can't lift the tank by myself. Heck it really took 3 of his. Me and my cousin lifting and his wife working the jack. Oh well, at least I know I won't have to worry about any of this again soon. At least I hope. Off to try and get some sleep before hitting it hard again tomorrow!!! Hopefully I will be able to get caught up tomorrow night!!!!

What a great day yesterday! We went to an air museum out in Fort Worth with my dad. He had really good energy which made me very happy! He did so well considering how sick he was all week.

Here is a picture I took at the museum. It's a Hero Tree for those who lost their lives while serving our country. It might be hard to tell in the picture but it's a purple tree to represent the Purple Heart. The other is Sammy the Air Museum kitty. She was so sweet and roamed all over the museum!!!

When we got home my neighbor gave me a gift for Mother's Day with a very sweet card telling me what a great friend I am. She is such a nice lady! She took one look at this nightshirt and said she HAD to get it for me! It's is so me!!! It's a little wrinkly because it was folded up tightly inside a cloth bag and the bag has the same design on it!

I want to adopt all those dogs on my nightshirt! :lol:
