Another weekend has come and gone....slowly, we make our way back to the end of school. I'm ready for school to be out this year. I want take a couple of days off (maybe even a week) and enjoy myself. Won't be much longer...

Busy week ahead. This is the one week of the year that is really complete chaos for me. It is my least favorite week of the year.

What an honor for Chuck Berry! We have seen him in concert when he was in his early 70's at the Southfork Ranch (the ranch they film the show Dallas at). He was still Rockin n Rollin!!! Good concert!

You have peaked my excitement on two accounts there!! LOL! I grew up in a house that was devouted to Dallas ......and J.R (thanks to mum) LOL! Wow Southfork.....I need to visit Texas!!

Hey Festive! I am doing so well, thank you for asking! How are you doing? Thursday night was really busy, but that's okay. It's the weekend now and I am glad to be off. Tomorrow is Mother's Day here and I will be celebrating it with my family! Hope all is well with you!

Yes my mum also celebrates mother's day in May (she is abroad) . I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day celebrating with your family, I'm glad you were off for it!

Good Morning!

I am behind on here. It's been a little stressful for me this week but didn't want to drag you all down. It's all good now so I will share!!!

My dad has been sick since Sunday and had me worried like crazy! First of all he has a mild form of leukemia for 10 years now. It's been in remission but his bloodwork remains permanently off the charts and will never be normal. He is stable but if he gets ill with anything including a simple cold can be serious for him. That is all he has had this week is a cold but has knocked him way down. I would get so upset when I call to check on him and he could barely talk. He is such a cheerful man all the time and this week hasn't sounded that way. He even comes over everyday to use our computer but hasn't came by this week from being so sick. I called him a little bit ago and he sounded great and feeling better. He plans to come over today! I love my dad so much! I hate to see him sick, just like with anyone on here feels about their parents.

It did put a smile on my face when I called one day and my mom said he is watching The Three Stooges! He loves laughter and laughter is the best medicine!

Please pray that he continues getting stronger everyday!

Merry Monday!

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the special mums, fur-mums and Dads with 'mum' duties. I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating with your families.

I would have liked to catch up more on posts that I have missed but I could only read and reply to some. I hope all is well with everyone and I have not missed anything major.

Long day at work yesterday and I am still shattered! I need to get a few things done, so I'll see you all later.

My son's appointment is first thing tomorrow morning, I'll let you all know how it goes.

We had a lovely time with our Mom's, thanks! Took my Mom out to her favorite Mexican restaurant. Then my sister, niece, Mom, and I played a mother-daughter game. It was fun & we actually learned a lot more about each other!

Mom seems to be getting around ok, still having some pain & has an appointment with her doctor on Tuesday. So, hopefully they recommend the MRI, so she can finally get some answers.

Continued prayers for your mum (((hugs))) Fingers crossed for the MRI . I hope she gets some answers soon so that her situation can then improve. I'll be thinking of you guys tomorrow.
