Good morning everyone!

I haven't been on for ages. Shame on me. :/
The PC at home works unbelievably slowly (it desperately needs to be fixed) and I'm not that patient to wait for half an hour to get Internet browser open. ^^
Anyway, it's my fifth day at home and I got use to my routine here just now. I will try to pop in more often now. :]
I hope everyone is doing well.
Best wishes, and happy June!

Good morning Victoria, it's good to see you!
Hope you're having a wonderful time with your family!!!

Merry Morning!

How are you all doing? Things went ok at the hospital. The doctor that saw my son was very impatient with us as my son was scared at first. Usually a children's doctor will warm up to the child first and make them feel comfortable. She expected him to walk into an unknown room with a stranger and weird equipment and just cooperate! He is only 2!! Anyway we have to go back again in two months for a second screening.

On our way home, I decided to pop in to see my mother in law as we were in the area. That visit was hard work LOL! Within a few minutes she managed to make me feel bad about my parenting and myself. When she started bad mouthing Christmas, I really had to restrain myself. I did my best to smile and nod through out the visit but it's amazing how negativity can weigh you down.

So , it was a long day yesterday to say the least and I am trying my best today to just let go of it all !

Rant over LOL! Sorry I needed to let that out :)

Have a good day everyone!

I'm praying that today is a better day for you. Sending hugs your way xoxo

Good morning everyone.

I'm trying to read the forums when I can. I hope everyone is well. Brad, I hope your hand is better! Getting stung sure hurts! A few years ago a wasp got me when we were having a church work day, cleaning up the church's property. Right in the shoulder. I may have said a word one should not say anywhere, but especially church! :) my wife still gives me a hard time about that one.

Good luck on your speech this weekend!

And I hope everyone else has a great day!

Festive Spirit, is your son okay? I hope all is well and am praying!

I'm sorry about the visit to your mother in law. I hope you're alright. And she bad mouthed Christmas!?!!? That's fightin' words right there' :)

I hope today is better!

Good Morning, Friends of Christmas!
(And what can be more friendly than that?)

But perhaps you're not feeling particularly friendly this morning?
Maybe this will alter your mood in a positive direction:
Days to the Season: 163
Days to Christmas Day: 205

Five.
That's right.
FIVE.
More days until the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
Then.
A double-100's count, and just the start of the suggestion of time winding down.
(What a nice feeling!)

Well, let me tell you.
Sunday's weather was fantastic and I felt it just about couldn't get any better, but it DID yesterday. Possibly the nicest day in over a year.
The temp was in the low to mid 70's all day.
There was no rain or even the suggestion of it.
No humidity.
No wind above a gentle breeze.
The birds sang.
The dogs barked.
The children played.
I enjoyed the front porch.
AHHH!

We are at 60 degrees to begin what I can only hope will be a closely similar day.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!

Good Morning!

I decided last night that I'm going to take off work for the rest of the week, sort of a mini-vacation. Tomorrow we are going to go to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania and then on Thursday, drive up to Cedar Point amusement park, up in Sandusky, Ohio (never been there before) and stay there overnight till Friday.

Now, I must confess, I do not do rides (any more)....Not unless you want me to have my head shoved inside a bucket all day. Yup, I'm a hurler.... I used to get on roller coasters and the scrambler all the time, but ever since I have had 2 concussions in the past 10 years, I cannot do it no more, I get sick.... So, I'm the official pocketbook, sunglasses, hat holder....

That's Ok I'm just happy being there, happy watching all the sights, watching other people, playing games and of course, eating fried dough, Turkey legs - Yummmmmmm:munch:

And I also like to drive! So any how, I'm bugging out of here around noon and heading home for the week. I hope you all have a wonderful morning~

I used to have computer internet like that, it was when we still went through our phone line. You could either be on the computer or on the phone but not both. Agonizingly slow.
Good to hear you are enjoying your time at home.

Four more days until school is out! Then I'm taking a whole week off. I'm taking another week off later in the summer, but I will worry about that when we get there. I'm just excited about next week. I'm going to look at Christmas stuff all week long! I can't wait.

Heading out Friday afternoon to go see my brother. In the past, we have only seen each other 2x a year (Thanksgiving and Christmas), but when the baby was born we promised each other that would change. This is my effort to see that it does. It's his 40th birthday. Amazing....I can remember it like it was yesterday when he turned 17. Here we are....both at the brink of 40....where does the time go?

I'm out of here! See ya later and have a blessed day tomorrow!
amazing how fast time goes by, seems like you blink and everyone is older.
Makes you realize the importance of spending time with the people you love while you can.

I am not on here very often lately either, life is busy but I am enjoying it! Spending more time with my family and especially my mom is my priority.
Enjoy your week !

what a nice mini holiday! I do not do the rides either, I however and afraid of falling off them (I know, everyone says they are safe and I have never actually seen anyone fall off, except in movies, but still...)
So I do like you and just enjoy walking around and enjoying the sights plus taking lots of silly pictures of those who do the rides !
