Thank you for all of the thoughts, messages & prayers for my Mom. She had her appointment with the orthopedic surgeon yesterday. They have scheduled her for surgery next Wednesday, and will have about a month of initial recovery.

Thanks, HMG!!!! I got about 2 1/2 hours before my aunt came by and woke me up and my neighbor started bugging me.

Good morning!
We are expecting more rain again today with temperatures in the lower 70's. The weekend is looking good though, it's going to be sunny and warm.
Today is my husbands 47th birthday. Can't believe we were just teenagers when we met. Where does the time go? Speaking of time flying by, today is also the last day of school for my youngest daughter. Tests are scheduled for next week and her graduation ceremony will be on the 28th. It's a big milestone for her, and also for me. I am trying to keep it together as I enter a new chapter in my life. The mass of thoughts and emotions are overwhelming. I am so proud and excited for her yet sad at the same time, if that makes any sense. It is incredibly bittersweet.
Another busy day for me. My oldest has her appointment with the ENT this morning. We'll see what he has to say about those tonsils coming out. Then I have an appointment to have my hair cut and colored. It's the last thing I feel like doing but it has to be done. I also need to finish up my menu plan and grocery list for next week. I'm hoping to get to the butcher at some point today and do the rest of my food shopping tomorrow. I also have a couple of other quick errands to run and then back home to work on daily chores. We'll be celebrating my husbands birthday this evening. I planned on grilling out, hopefully the weather will cooperate!

Wow, the moon was really full last night, wasn't it? It would have been a good night to go fishing, if I weren't so scared of getting on a moccasin snake! I always tiptoe around the pond while I'm getting in the boat so I don't disturb any hiding moccasins LOL.

We went to mom's for supper last night, and Jim & his girlfriend came. We had a great time, then I helped him unload another trailer-full of furniture. He's almost finished moving, just a few more pieces of furniture...and a swimming pool that has to be disassembled. Oh boy. I guess I'll go help.

Jacob finally comes home from church camp today!! I'm ready to see that boy!

Thanks everybody! Gracie was still pretty mopey last night...She finally came out from under our bed, so I took her outside. She was laying under our patio table & I went in the house for a few minutes. Came back out & she was ON TOP of the table. Little booger! I got her down & she was all sad, laying around. THEN my friend came over with her 2 girls & she was sooooo happy! After they left, she ate all her food - 1st time since Tuesday that she ate! YAY GRACIE! :smile: She was much more peppy this morning. We did give her the last dose of pain/inflammation medicine. Vet said she may not need it, but... how do we know?? So she got it. Might help keep her a little calmer too.

Mom's test came back negative for blood clot. She has an apt. at 1:00 today with the family doc. Hoping/praying it's nothing serious!!!

Glad to hear that Gracie is doing better after having some visitors!!!!!

We are riding the Magic Carpets of Alladin ride and I got hit with a blast of water. I look up and there's a statue of a camel that spits water out its mouth.

I know exactly who rigged this up. Well played, Carl, well played.

LOL!!!! You just can't get away from that Camel!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Friday - the 13th MMC!!! It's a cool morning again - it can't decide if it wants to rain, or if the sun wants to come out! Hoping for sun so I can get the lawn mowed after work! Also need to get to the butcher to pick up sirloin burgers, brats, & hot dogs for our fathers day cookout! :smile: And to the garden, THEN to the lake! YAY! Tomorrow morning we are going to a funeral viewing :sad: we have chicken dinner tickets for lunch - benefits the fire dept at the lake, & tomorrow night we have to work in the beer tent at the town festival - just up the road from our trailer at the lake. Should be fun. Sunday we have both families out to the lake for Fathers Day. Busy weekend. Hoping to get a lot of bike riding in there too!!! Supposed to be a beautiful weekend!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high in the mid 70's. Then the temp starts shooting up over the weekend until we finally see our first 90's of the season by mid week. Boo!!!! Not a whole lot going on here for me today. I've already been to the store with my aunt to get a few things I wanted off of the friday sale. I'll go back tomorrow to do the rest of my shopping. Now I just need to get my daily chores done and then hopefully I can enjoy the beautiful weather if they don't come through and mow the grass. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
