Good Morning, Shamelessly Superlative Sunday Santa Seekers!
Superlative? That described our weather yesterday.
Started out looking like it would be hot and humid but it was nice and pleasant, especially by the afternoon, with no rain.
(Great day for the little neighborhood block party that was held!)
We are at 64 degrees right now, with a low precipitation prediction for today.
OK!
To the numbers, without further delay:
Days to the Season: 151
Days to Christmas Day: 193
And there is no delay in announcing that the half way mark to Christmas Day 2014 arrives in barely over 1 1/2 weeks. In fact, SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!
(What a nice start to the Weekend Part II.)
Allrighty!
You be sure to relax and enoy the rest of your weekend while having a Super Sunday, OK?

My mom, the kids great grandma, has been spending lots of time with them since they were born. We have even gone on 2 train trips to San Antonio to visit Sea World, the Riverwalk, The Alamo and more. We have all gone to Six Flags, water parks, parks, museums, zoos and lots and lots more. I am thrilled that not only the grandkids will remember all the things I have done with them as a grandma but they have tons of memories with, their ever so active, great grandma! She is a big kid and LOVES doing kid activities. My mom calls me all the time trying to come up with new and fun things to do with them. I wish I had her energy!!! She is already talking about taking another vacation with them. We all want to go to Disney!
My dad, their great grandfather, is a little slower on the energy side due to some health issues but he is part of the fun on taking them to the air shows and air museums and visits them often.
I am way behind on here but how is he doing now? I hope better!

Ahh! Fun! We will have a Mario Kart competition! I use to be good at it but I was just awful the other day.
When my kids were little we played Crash Team Racing all the time. I was excellent at that! I loved that game!
Snowflake, I bookmarked the list of Christmas movies you posted. Thanks! I just hope I can upgrade cable in time. When I first read the list I thought it was only taking place 4th of July weekend and thought I am not going to be sitting in front of my TV all weekend, I have fun things planned! But I see that it continues all week long!

Wayne and I took my dad to the new George W. Bush Presidential Library yesterday that opened up here. This is not a political post, we just went to a historical library that was very interesting. cheesy It's the first presidential library that any of us has ever been to and I would love to visit others now. I would love to visit the JFK Library but that would be a long drive to get there. The other closest one to us would be LBJ Library in Houston. We might need to go to that one next time we go there.
Something was going on yesterday and I could not get on here, the page would not load. I was only able to catch up on a few post and got to run now. I hope you are all doing well!!! I will try to pop back on here before I leave for the day - church and work.

Good! I will probably watch some, and DVR the rest, myself!
Mom is doing okay, still in a lot of pain, but the surgery is set for Wednesday so at least we are getting close to that.
