I've tried getting into the World Cup, but it isn't really holding my interest. I played soccer when I was younger, but I keep going and reading about what the Bruins are doing in the offseason, how the Red Sox will try to get better.... Oh well, at least I have tried. cheesy

Good Morning, Last-of-the-First Half Friends.

Ah! 'Tis true, 'tis true!
The grand, final day of the first half of our journey back to Christmas!

Days to the Season: 141
Days to Christmas Day: 183


Yesterday:
Warm?
Yes.
Humid?
Yes.
Rain.
Well, no. At least that didn't happen. Today is a different story, however, with a strong likelihood of precipitation.
We begin mid-week at 74 degrees here.


OK!
Carl has issued a press release stating in honor of the half way point to Christmas Day being reached tomorrow, ALL merchandise of any kind is half off at the inn.
(I did notice all camel-themed gift shop items are prominently featured in front of every display. Hmmmm.....)
Also, as promised, "Summer Games" will be held at the 'Pines.
Now, what this entails is anyone's guess. All I have been able to confirm for sure is that one of the games is "pin the tail on the camel".
(I can only imagine where it goes from there!)
Regardless, sounds like a visit you don't want to miss.

Yay! 6 more months until Christmas!

When I see this posted on social media about 6 more months until Christmas a few are not amused and will say, "Let's have summer first"! They need to remember that they will have summer first, Christmas is not for another 6 months! We are not taking summer away we are just stating a fact about how many months there is until Christmas! :D

I bought red, white and blue mini lights and put them on my tropical tree. It looks so festive!

I hope you all are doing well and have the merriest day ever!
