Long day today, too bad I missed all the HSN fun. It doesn't sound like I missed too much good stuff.

Down to just 2 days to go until vacation, we will be heading out after work tomorrow to buy the things we need for the trip. Still have to pack and clean out the car. We are aiming to be on the road by 7am on Saturday to be in the lake region by 10am. We are all very excited!!!!

Yesterday had cooler temps and noticeably lower humidity readings.
Most pleasant!
We have commenced today at a nice-for-July 69 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Whoa....got up, went outside, wow, what a temperature difference! Now were talking, just the way I like it. It feels like a prelude to a nice Fall day!!! I likey the 60 degree temps, a person can sure do a good days worth of work outside without sweating to death or the bugs chasing after you all day long~

I got in this morning to work and I have "Christmas and then some" streaming in from "Live 365". Getting into my Christmas in July mood just before the weekend where I will do my best to watch QVC around 8 pm tomorrow night and also pull out some traditional Christmas movies to watch.

This evening, we settle on our present home and that point, I will no longer be a homeowner, just a renter for the next several months. So, the looking for another home will be kicking into full gear, or maybe this time buying land and building a home on it? Who knows, I do not have a concrete plan yet, it's like one of those things where, I have to feel it, you know, deep inside where you go; YES, this is it.....

I was going around the house last night singing; "I'll be homeless for Christmas......."LOL, we did that this past Christmas, where we hardly celebrated it due to we were packing and moving, our Christmas tree was this little thing, I call it my Charlie Brown Christmas tree, but hey, it works. Just pull the plastic bag off the top, plug it in and there you go, instant Christmas.....Hmmmmm, maybe I'll do that for tomorrow night!!!!

So, is anyone else planning to spend their Friday night, tuned into QVC/ CIJ around 8pmEST as well? I'm hoping to do so, as long as the Mrs, doesn't surprise me with any road trips that I am not presently aware of.....

It is beautiful outside, low humidity and we are currently at 68 degrees. It is going to warm up a bit and we will have temperatures in the upper 70's.
I took my daughter dorm shopping yesterday and we didn't even put a dent in the long list of things that she needs. I am making her go online today to choose bedding and having it shipped to the house. I am not driving all over the island to find something she likes. She is so darn picky. I'm sure I could take care of everything else on the list myself when I get a chance. There's not too much else going on for me. I just need to run to the pet store for a couple of things, then back home for daily chores.

I don't blame you a bit! Ordering online can be so much easier. I'm a - get what you need & get out kind of shopper most of the time. (except at Christmas) :lol: Have a great day HMG!

Good morning MMC! Another beautiful day! BUT I do have to say - we had the birthday party for our nephews last night & normally they have squirt guns, a pool....none of that last night. We went outside to take pictures & we quickly went back in cuz it was COLD!! :cold: But it was nice 'n warm inside & cinnamon rolls were delish!

I have all the kitchen cupboards unloaded...just have 4 drawers left to go & the things that set on the counter. One thing for sure - the Keurig is going to find a new home that has easy access through all this. I can do without a lot of things, but don't take away my coffee!!!!! =)

Here is a pic of our progress on the new room...and of Gracie hanging out in her new favorite area of your yard ~ you know that puppy who needed a bath at 7:55 this morning b/c her paws were COVERED in mud ~ and I have to be at work at 8:00!!! Yup, THAT little stinker!!!

I stuck a 2014 penny in the concrete floor yesterday afternoon. Almost forgot to do that! It's hard to tell in the pic, but the new room is 20 x 20...the window on the left will become the door to the new room. Looking fwd to it all being done! :smile:

Morning all!! Its a lovely start to the day here!! I have my youngest daughters sports day this morning! Cant wait, its always so cute to see the nursery children having activities!!!

Our children break for summer holidays tomorrow!! Where has this year gone??? When they go back in september I will be on major countdown for the season!! The 'ber' months are just around the corner!!!!!!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a busy morning. Jacob and his buddies went to see a scary movie last night, Deliver Us From Evil (he said it wasn't scary enough), then he spent the night at his buddy's house about 30 miles away. So I had to go pick him up at 7 o'clock this morning.

Then Nancy had a nail in a tire, so I had to get the tire fixed.

Finally, I was able to go to work. Whew! I'm glad I have an understanding boss-man.
