Good evening, MMC!

I hope everyone had a good day and is doing well.

Things have been better here. My dog Shaggy passed away early this morning and I am heart broken. :sad: He was the happiest of dogs and would rather have a hug than eat. He was almost 17 and lived a good life, but it seems like only yesterday that my brother found him in the woods. I am going to miss him so much!

I need to watch a few Christmas movies tonight, but first I need to do a few chores.

Binger, I'm watching but Mom is having an episode. So I'm trying to monitor her to see if she is getting worse and we need to head to the ER.

Plus where is Valerie? She was supposed to be on with Jill tonight and she hasn't mentioned her at all?

Lots of prayers for mom. Keeps us updated, buddy.

I know - I was disappointed to see she wasn't on. Jill is always nice to watch though.

Hey HMG! Glad to hear all is well. Sounds like you've been very busy. What day is your daughter's surgery? I will keep her in my prayers.

The kids started swim lessons on Monday, so they are really enjoying summer now! They loved it and actually did very well for their first time!

Thanks Sugar! My daughters surgery is scheduled for the 28th. I really appreciate the prayers.
I'm so glad the kids love their swimming lessons, that is awesome!

Snowflake- Even though I'm not there, I called Carl and told him to get a drink ready for the most beautiful girl in the world!! I was even a nice guy and told him to put it on my tab!! LOL!!!!

did you have a look at the size of her dorm room?
If it is like my daughters they are not very big. She could not get one of those under the bed totes under the bed because the bed was to low to the floor. Fortunately we could return ours.
Plus they have so many regulations as to what is allowed to be plugged in, she could not have strings of lights because it was considered a fire hazard. (she had wanted to put up clear Christmas light strings because she liked the peaceful glow of them) She has them in her apartment and they look so nice. Even her hair dryer had to be checked out and approved before she could use it.
Students loans people are fun to deal with here too!

We had a quick tour when we visited the school, the rooms are definitely tiny. I bought these lift thingys that go under the legs of the bed. They raise the bed seven inches which makes enough room for the boxes. I didn't look in to whether the string lights were allowed or not, that's a good point. My husband still isn't home from work so I don't think we'll be looking at the student loan stuff tonight. I'm getting a bit stressed out, all of it is so overwhelming.

They raise the bed seven inches which makes enough room for the boxes. I didn't look in to whether the string lights were allowed or not, that's a good point. Went outside to check on my flowers. , ran back in quickly but already had been bitten 7 times by Mosquitos !
Here is just 2 bites

They are hot and painful not itchy which makes me wonder if it was something else that bit me . Some of the bites look worse than those two. Took an antihistamine so hopefully that settles them down soon

Carl just sent me a message asking if I knew whose car this was. I told him I had no clue. He replied back that is was a total mess when he got there. Just covered in dirt. He didn't want it sitting in his lot that way though. So he gave it a spit shine and got it looking good for the owner.
