I'm back from the meeting at the hospital. It sounds like the majority of their losses are stemming from the implementation of Obamacare. Apparently, not all hospitals are compensated equally by insurance companies, either. I learned a lot at the meeting, none of it good.
We still have a few fat-cats on the board, but we've always had that. It seems that they need to make it more visible that they are close to closing. If we can get more local people to use our small hospital for routine things, instead of running to Savannah, we might have a chance.
We'll see.
