Junior wins, football is back, baby is sleeping....
life is good!
Another workweek looms large ... But until then, have a restful night's sleep!
A nice day today. Spent a lot of time fooling around with a Christmas afghan square pattern I found online years ago. I think it might make a nice afghan if I use a novel way to join the squares and find an attractive border to put on it.
Sleep tight! See you tomorrow!

Good Morning, New Week Friends and Holiday Supporters.
Wow.
Look at our next Milestone and just how close it is.
Frightening.
First, the numbers:
Days to the Season: 101
Days to Christmas Day: 143
Tomorrow, Guys.
Milestone Day.
The opening of the 100-day Season Window and the start of our double-digit count to Christmas Season 2014.
(Leapin' Lizards!)
Continued damp yesterday with those high humidity readings.
At least the temps remain low.
Today is supposed to be drier. We'll see.
Starting off the week, we show 67.6 degrees on our handy-dandy digital back door thermometer.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
I hope, and trust, your work week is off to an acceptable, if not great, start!

Good morning everyone. Been MIA for a few days. The 2 oldest kids and myself had the greatest time Saturday night. We went to the Liverpool FC game in Charlotte. It was amazing.
This is will be my first week of working both jobs, so we will see how it goes.
Hope everyone has s great day !!
Good luck with the Afghan!!!

Good evening everyone! It's hard to believe that the Games are over as well as my Clyde-sider's adventure. I'm still very emotional about it so it's very hard to put everything in words. It's amazing how three weeks spent with certain people can be so heartbreaking at the end.
Since there were final matches of men's hockey today (girls played yesterday), it was super busy and our transport team had so much work. I wasn't able to see that much hockey as I had wanted but I got lucky when one English player was very kind and showed me his well deserved Commonwealth silver medal after the ceremony. Since I wasn't allowed to take pictures with the athlete while on shift, I took a picture of the player:

Whoever said that working in the transport team was uninteresting obviously didn't know what they had been missing. I got to see and talk to all handsome hockey players first hand. ^^
I will be able to pop in here more often once I'm back home to my normal eating and sleeping routine. I'm leaving tomorrow but I must say that I really enjoyed those three weeks in Glasgow. It's amazing city! I can't wait to move in here for my placement. :]
Sending my bests to you all!
One word to describe today:
YUM!!!
Turkey dinner was great, we had turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, corn, and peas. Then for dessert, not apple or pumpkin pie, but homemade strawberry shortcake.
I am stuffed, I think I will need my wife to roll me around the rest of the night.
