Thanks for the nice words MerryCarey.

Seawaters: Im thinking about you, and praying for you

Goodnight! [emoji173]️

Take care, CAH. I had to opt out of cooking dinner tonight, but I knew I just could not do it. I have to give myself permission to take it easy! Glad you had a good lunch with your mom. I remember your telling us about that restaurant before. Not many restaurants are so gluten- and dairy-free, or at least this close. At least you have a place that you can enjoy!

I must say that staying in bed all day yesterday and 10 hours of sleep last night made me feel so much better today. I told Wayne this isn't good, I seem to be having this problem at least once a week. He said if I feel bad, lay down! I really tried to get up and around yesterday and push through it but kept getting dizzy when I stood up so I would have to lay back down. I felt so unproductive! But today is a new day and going to go in full mode!!! Zoom zoom!!!

Thanks to all for your well wishes!

As usual, I did not get to read everyone's post but will be back on later to catch up. I did catch one from Momnan - enjoy those Christmas cards!!! :D

Wow, Merry Carey, that is so freaky! I use FB to connect with old friends from high school and with the communities where I lived as a kid. That has been so exciting for me. Plus, I have found and shared tons of recipes. I cannot imagine someone with such self-importance that he would make such a demand! That totally blew me away! I haven't seen such drama myself, but my friends who frequent FB are beyond the age for drama. The most drama I saw concerned Sears not being very professional in the area of customer service, lol!

I'm not on Facebook myself; most of my relatives are older and not computer-literate, so it's not a viable means of staying in touch.

From what I hear and read, Facebook seems to be some people's reality instead of a tool for communication; what happens there seems to them to be more important than what happens in real life. It's great what it can do for extended families whose members are scattered, or for those who grew up digital and can't imagine a world without Facebook, but so far it's not for me.

Mr. isn't on Facebook, either, and a strange thing happened. Someone looking for him on Facebook found that there are several people with the same name, and asked a friend of ours who IS on Facebook which one was Mr. Our friend told him that Mr. isn't on Facebook. The guy got furious with our friend: "What do you MEAN he isn't on Facebook? Why not? I DEMAND to know why he isn't on Facebook!" and went on and on attacking our FRIEND because Mr. isn't on Facebook! I hope most people on Facebook aren't that batty. But it's one more reason I shy away from it. It's probably harmless and even fun, but I've chosen to leave that particular Pandora's box closed. It's tempting at times, and I've been as close as one click away from joining, but it's too scary for me.

The biggest temptation would be to be in closer touch with all of you. But I could do that here and through email ...

I saw a reference to Meceka having to make a decision about the store. Can someone direct me to the original post? I could not find it.

Stay safe, HMG. Do you have any pics of your kitchen?

A biopsy was done on Joshua's liver, but it will be up to 72 hours for the results. They are trying to find the primary spot of the cancer so they can decide a course of action. A friend told me that two of her friends had liver cancer, and the doctors went in with long needles and froze the lesions. No chemo or radiation were required. We shall see.

The insomnia with the medication I take keeps me tired. I think I will take a Tylenol PM and try to sleep tonight. TTYT (well, really today).

Good evening,

Tonight was a very slow moving night at work, it seemed like it would never end.

I am tired, and I have to head in nice and early like usual.

The rains have moved on and now it is a nice starry night, the cats are totally mental right now running around jumping off everything.

I am heading to the Land of Nod.

Good night, everyone.

Hope you have a good day today!

Good morning everyone! It's a rainy day here today but it's summer kind of rain so it's great. I really like the fact the weather has cooled down. :] I have my dog running around with his toy so I might go and play with him for a while. He is cheeky. He gets what he wants. ^^
Have a nice day

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Dear Friends.

Seems like just yesterday we passed a Milestone Day and now, here's another one already.
(Actually, it wasn't much longer than just yesterday!)

But be that as it may, we now find ourselves THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY BACK TO THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.

Days to the Season: 91
Days to Christmas Day: 133

Our next Milestone?
Well.......
Nope.
Too soon.
You'll just have to wait.
(Unless you want to consult the chart, that is.)

Well, a wonderful, low humidity, cool, rain-free day was experienced here yesterday. It really couldn't get any better for mid August.
(If only it could remain this way until the fall!)
We are at a surprisingly cool 61 degrees here at this hour to start the day.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And get all geared up for another Exciting Eve of the Weekend tomorrow!

had a great day yesterday, picked up 4 Christmas gifts and some items for the operation Christmas child boxes and spent only $25!!!!

back to work today, have a great day everyone!!

Thank you so much. I can't believe the pictures and videos I'm seeing on the local news. Some areas are flooded worse than after Hurricane Sandy. I'm watching the news right now and they are showing someones back yard that is flooded so bad, the water is level with the top of their above ground pool. It's insane. And that is in my town. I am so thankful we are alright here. We have some water in the basement, I went down and the floor is squishy so I know it was starting to come up, our pump is running non-stop. My husband still hasn't come home, the last time I spoke with him he said he was able to get in to his shop, several of his machines were under water. I'm not sure what they're going to do, what a nightmare!

Oh my gosh HMG! Sounds like a mess! I hope the machines will be ok & your basement too!! Just what ya need, huh?? Stay safe 'n dry!!!
