That happened to me too ... Only I was in the second grade and took a big bite of what I thought was a peanut butter cookie. Nope, it was pumpkin. Eccch! Before that happened, I liked pumpkin pie, but I haven't eaten anything made with pumpkin since. So you are not alone in your dislike for pumpkin, Xmas!

Hey, I made it on here....I've been trying for awhile now and I have been getting kicked off the site every time. How's everybody tonight? I'm up for a little while longer, went to bed, couldn't sleep (too much on my mind) so I got up and jumped on here while I'm waiting for Mr. Ambian to kick in....And when it does, I'll sleep then....

That bone-head of a homeowner that we countered on again, your not going to believe this, he countered again. There is now 2,750.00 dollars separating us from an agreement. Can you believe this guy, what a nut-job. I think this is going to drive Lisa over the edge; whoa boy, did she go ballistic, I stayed away from her for almost a whole day until I knew it was safe to come around (whoa man, Italian tempers) ....I told her that it's her decision on what to do next, so she's going to sleep on it tonight. And tomorrow evening we are going out to look at another 3 more homes just in case.....

I walked outside for a few seconds, wheeeew it's a bit chilly out there tonight, I call this bon-fire weather....I might have to fire one up tomorrow night..... Hope everyone has a good night sleep tonight!

If you do come to an agreement with they guy, he better watch out at the closing!!!! LOL!!!!

It is perfect bonfire weather!!! Oh how I wish I could have a fire pit here at the apartments.

Long time, no see!

Busy, busy, busy. I just stopped working. Tired...but it will be ok.

Kids come back Monday. I'm so excited. A lot of changes are coming our way, but it's all good.

Not much planned for tomorrow other than a few house chores and some cooking. Probably watching a little tv....and if I don't get to bed soon, I know a nap will be coming on tomorrow.

Hope to catch up tomorrow, but I hope everyone is great. See y'all in the morning for coffee.

The radio on the kitchen playes Christmas music nonstop! ♥

Plans to day: watch Christmas movies with Isak...
Only two days until School starts here, and Isak
starts his first year. He is so exited!! (me too!)

Good Morning, Everyone.

Welcome to yet another weekend oasis on our long voyage back to Christmas.

As we relax, let us contemplate the new count figures and just what they mean.
Days to the Season: 89
Days to Christmas Day: 131

Well, what they tell us is that we are now down to SINGLE DIGITS to our next Milestone, the two-thirds point to Christmas Day 2014.
Yep. That's right.
Just 9 days away!

OK.
Of course yesterday just coun't be as good as Thursday was.
And that proved true as the heat and humidity began making a slow comeback.
Not that I'm complaining. It was still and excellent day for mid August.
Today has commenced at 70 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Friends!
And do your best to enjoy the weekend in the spirit of the Season.

TRAVEL ALERT

Well, the main rental season is over at our beach cottage and there is a gap between now and the last of our renters.
As such, the Crowns are going over to the coast tomorrow to inspect and enjoy a couple of days before my nieces start back to college this Wednesday.

A volunteer will therefore be needed for Monday and Tuesday mornings.
