Much cooler with lower humidity yesterday as the comfortable several day trend predicted has arrived!
Hopefully, it will hang around for the week.
Currently, we record a quite-cool-for-August 63 degrees here in central NC.

Good morning!
It is going to be sunny and warm today with a high of 82 degrees. My daughter and I are going to take a ride to Staples this morning to pick up a graphing calculator. Then we're going out to lunch with my parents. We also plan on going to the mall this afternoon to do more clothes shopping. She only needs a couple of things so it shouldn't take long, then we can finally start packing. I'm praying I can fit all of her stuff in my car when we leave on Friday.

I don't get it, either … why is one canvas spattered randomly with paint an accident, but a canvas spattered with paint by a guy called an artist considered a masterpiece? Only because one is intentional and one is not? Not intending to be disrespectful here---I guess that's a plane of art that's over my head. And as for "performance art"---I saw an article some time ago about a guy who wanted to cover a hotel room in cheese. Where's the art in that? (Sorry, sounds like a rant, not meant that way!)

I would respect some paint splattered on a canvas better than this joke of a picture I posted but I know what you mean!!! Sounds like the guy who wanted to cover a hotel room with cheese just wanted an excuse to be messy and attract rats and roaches to the room. :lol:

I had posted yesterday the "art" that Wayne and I saw at the Art Museum that doesn't make much sense. Here it is again and below is an art wall that I started over a year ago of my grandchildren's art that I put in frames and hung in the hallway. The kids are so proud of seeing their art hanging in frames on the wall. I have to say their art is far more superior than this one that is guarded at the art museum. :lol:

If you look on my art wall, the bottom right corner picture is of Santa on the roof. That one was mailed to me from Trackrebel's daughter Kandice! I was so tickled that she wanted me to have it so I added it to the wall! The top middle one was one my granddaughter did when she was 2 years old. That one is even way better than the top picture I took from the art museum! =)

I plan to start framing more pictures from the kids and filling up the other side of the hallway.

Morning all! well its give rain for all day today, also the weather here has cooled down alot in the past week, its felt really autumn like! I love it ha! already had a hot choc before bed the past couple of nights, cant wait until Im sat drinking it and all the xmas lights are twinkling hehe!!

Well I start my new job wednesday, must say Im starting to feel pretty nervous! Im sure Ill be fine though. I cant beleive how quick its come round!

Good Morning all !!! Again I have gone MIA , life can get really crazy being by myself with 3 teenagers Well today is the first day of school, they are so ready to go back. So I'm going to get them off to school and enjoy the quiet for a few minutes then off to work.
At least with school back in we will be on a schedule again

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be hot. Really hot. 92 degrees and a heat index well over 100 degrees. Or just a typical summer day for CAH down in Texas. LOL!!! So needless to say, I'm going to be hanging out inside in front of the A/C. I have a few of my daily chores left and then I'm going to put in a Christmas movie and work on some projects. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
