Gorgeous day down the shore today at Long Branch, NJ. So sad that summer is ending! The waves are at least 5 or 6 ft thanks to Hurricane Cristobal way offshore, so no swimming is happening today. Oh well! At least it's nice out.

Happy Wednesday to you!

Yesterday's headache is still here and I'm not feeling well in general. I worked through it yesterday, but today I'm staying home to try to beat it.

Also some sad news yesterday. One of Gloria's kitties, Pumpkin, was very ill and had to be put to sleep yesterday. Gloria is devastated, and I'm sad myself. When we visited, he used to curl up in my lap and go to sleep. In some ways he was a little stinker, but still a very sweet cat.

Hope you can rest and the headache is gone soon.

So sorry to hear about Pumpkin. Lots of hugs to Gloria and you as well.

Happy Pines day, MMC!!! Not quite as hot here today with a high of 87 predicted but that is still way to hot for me. So it will be another day spent inside working on projects around the house for me. I might try to squeeze a Christmas movie in since I never got around to it on Monday. Good Morning!
Not too much going on today. I have a couple of quick errands to run this morning. Then I'm taking the girls to Chipolte for lunch. It's a beautiful sunny day so we just plan on hanging out around the pool this afternoon. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy evening again. Jacob's new band practices out-of-town on Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 pm. That boy has to get his driver's license!

It's still nice in the mornings this week, but it'll be back in the upper 90's by the weekend. We're planning a stay in a nearby cabin for the three-day weekend with Nancy's family, so it should be fun. Lulu gets to spend the weekend at my mom's. She loves it there, and my mom loves Lulu as much as we do. She'll be so spoiled, she might not want to come home on Monday!

Good morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Happy Hump Day!!



Not much going on at work today. Could be a long day!



My Dad went in for an upper GI yesterday & was told his bleeding ulcer is healed. YAY!! That was good news! Our new room is all enclosed - windows are in - they are putting shingles on today - and we got an inch of rain in 30 minutes late afternoon/early evening yesterday....and we got water in the crawlspace again. It's coming in through the drain hole. OH NO! Hopefully they can get it fixed quick - we can't keep having water in there every time it rains!! Our electrician friend was over last night. He has the kitchen pretty much ready so hopefully tonight he can start in the new room! He worked until 1:30 am again - I'm tired. LOL! Keep the coffee coming!!!

It's so hot here today that I wish I was in this location!

Police ,fire , ambulance here at the store picking up lady hit by driver backing up, staff chasing shoplifter with police.

Had angry man at my till because cake he wanted was not right price he saw on shelf, he went back with manager got angrier because staff must have changed the sign after he went to the front

Now I have to go back in, lunch is over. May our afternoon be more peaceful !

Hope it's getting better too and hope no one was hurt in the accident.
