Good Morning. Today's a big day for us, we have home inspections today, on the house that we have a contract on. If everything goes well, it will be a good thing, if not, well then it could be a deal breaker.... So, fingers crossed.
I made a road to BJ's Wholesale club last night and I bought a whole tray of Cinnamon buns to bring to work this morning; (thought I would treat the guys here a little bit) wash it down with a cup of coffee and to Ill start my day off with a good sugar rush.....lol
Hope everyone has a great day today, and remember, smile, there's only one more day until we get a 3 day weekend.....
Good Morning, Post-'Pines People still Pining for Christmas.
Well, ease your minds, as the Christmas Season may be closer than you think.
The numbers:
Days to the Season: 77
Days to Christmas Day: 119
And those numbers tell us we are only 19 days off from the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone and the start of a double-double digit count.
(Now you can Pine more Patiently.)
Still the great-for-August weather. The kind that makes you not want to come in from outdoors lest you miss some of it.
We are at 66 degrees here currently, to start the day.
Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
(And W.E. all know what tomorrow is!)

Good morning!
I'm heading out soon to pick up bagels, my parents are coming for breakfast and to say goodbye to my daughter. I'm going to be busy today, we have a few last minute things to take care of. My daughter wants to spend some time with a few of her friends this afternoon and then we'll be going out to dinner later this evening. I'm sure I will pop back in here at some point. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
I forgot to say that I received my flu shot today. This is the first time that the shot has become SO sore! I can hardly move it!
A quick note about Joshua: he meets with his oncologist on the ninth to set up and begin chemo. His voice sounds strong and determined. I truly appreciate all prayers!
Good afternoon, Holiday! Glad to hear everything went well for you're dad!
Sorry to hear you're still getting water. Hopefully that can be figured out soon. It sounds like all is coming along though!

Good afternoon, MMC!
I just spent several hours working on cleaning out the freezer as tomorrow is trash pick-up day here. There is still some stuff to take care of, but I am too short to reach the items at the very bottom. My brother will be here to help me tomorrow, so hopefully between the two of us, the whole inside will be cleared out and cleaned. It doesn't smell bad in there yet as everything hasn't melted and I used real good freezer bags for storage. Yay! At least that is one thing I don't have to deal with at the moment!!!
There are still several chores to be done so I had best get going.
Praying for all of you!!!
Have a MERRY evening!!!

Thank you!
I've had plenty of headaches since I was a child, but as far as I know, never a migraine (although I've had occasional visual-only migraines---those weird visual patterns that start small, spread, and are over in about 20 minutes). But sometimes I DO get the fuzziness and fatigue after a headache passes. Just hoping I'll be sharper in the morning. Resting doesn't seem to help.
Goodnight, friends! It's been a busy day all around here. Just got in again and gotta try and lay down, to get a quick nap in.
Looking forward tomorrow. I start a 4 day weekend! Hope you all enjoy the rest of you're night! Ttyt!

[emoji1] I agree!!
I am also guilty of it at times, grateful for them, but sometimes also yearn for simpler times.

Back to work for the first time in 13 days tomorrow, the alarm will go off way too early.
Good night, everyone.
Good evening!
Sorry I haven't been able to reply to that many posts lately. We have been so incredibly busy getting my daughter ready for college. Today we were finally able to relax for a while and it was really nice. Tomorrow is our last full day together before she leaves. I have to admit I'm having a really hard time with it. I have such bad anxiety. I wish I didn't worry so much, but that's just the way I am. I know she will be fine. Anyway, you have all been in my thoughts. I hope everyone is well. I'll see you in the morning ~
Goodnight [emoji177]

Hope you get a chance to have lots of fun and lots of rest!
I have had that same kind of hungover feeling before. This evening, for the first time in over 28 years, I have felt as if a migraine were trying to take root. I have had two doctors' appointments, had to pick up Romex so Hubby could finish some wiring, had to pick up some scrapbooking supplies for myself, and then drive back home (a 45-minute drive, normally). On the way home, I noticed that the car felt and sounded funny, sort of like just before a flat tire. I stopped and checked but couldn't see anything wrong. It kept up with the sound and sort of shimmy. I stopped two more times but still couldn't see anything. I called Hubby and told him which way I was coming home to give him a heads-up. The shimmy and noise became worse the faster I drove, so I kept my speed under 50 mph. Luckily, there was not a lot of traffic on those back roads. I made it home, and we will take the car to the garage tomorrow, well, really today, lol! I think all that tension contributed to my headache. All of that coupled with the insomnia as a side effect of the cancer meds made for a tiring day! Take care, MC.

My battery on this iPad is almost gone, so I will try to catch up later, after I get some sleep!
