[Holiday]

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a warm morning, but it's only supposed to get to 90° this afternoon. I hope so!

My son turns 17 tomorrow...17! How did that happen? We're taking him and a few of his best friends out to eat tomorrow night, then dropping them off to see the new scary movie "As Above, So Below". Crazy name for a movie, but it looks scary. Then Saturday evening, we'll have the family over for burgers & dogs.

Happy Birthday to Jacob!!! Hope you has a great birthday weekend! (ps - mine is the 6th - September must be an extra special month...CS on the 4th, Jacob on the 5th & I'm the 6th. WOW! :lol

Lots of stuff to do today but I wanted to drop in and tell everyone that I hope you are having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

The temps will be mid 90's to near 100 most of the week. We will cool down to 92 by Sunday then back up to 99 by Wednesday next week! Make it stop!!!

Good morning!

Well, Happy struck again. Yesterday I came home to find he had gotten my sealed bag of chocolate protein powder I use to make shakes! He ate through the bag. It was in iur counter and I'm not sure how he reached it. The thought never occurred to me that he would be interested in it. It was a lot! After that much protein the poor dog may need some fiber to counteract that so he doesn't have some unpleasant trouble.

I told him his conduct was very unbecoming and that he should be ashamed of himself. He didn't seem to be embarrassed in the least bit, however.

Has Gracie been into some trouble?

Oh, just yesterday when I went home for lunch she had chewed through an (empty) little tube of neosporine, & she got on Jims nightstand & stole 2 quarters (they were laying on our bed) along with a "free drink chip" made of wood that she bit in half, also laying on our bed. THEN after work when I got home - Jim has a rosary he got for his 1st communion on his night stand, it's in a case - it was laying across the room on the floor (unharmed) AND she had got ahold of the AC remote & turned off the AC in our bedroom - it was 80º in there!! The remote was unharmed under the bed. THEN last night she snuck a chicken breast off the counter, & while doing corn - I found 4 ears of corn in the front yard. Hmmmm! THEN around 11:30 (she was outside "helping" the guys put lighting in) she came running into the house with muddy paws & a muddy face!!!! Straight to the tub she went. What a day! She was being a dandy! Today (so far) she has been good as gold! LOL

Oy corn... don't mention it. LOL We grow 1 full acre of corn. Takes a crew of about 8 people, 3-4 days. It is for this reason alone I have come to dread Mother's Day as that's when it comes in. LOL Glad you had extra hands! [emoji2]

The chicken sounds wonderful!!!!

Now that's A LOT of corn!!! 1 night was enough. Lol

ROFL I'm thinking it's a general canine thing because this one:

... just stole a stick of butter off the counter 30 seconds before I read the Wheaton Terrier comment. That's a black Lab - German Shepherd, "Moose."

Oh my gosh! I love his cute little face! What a sweetie! I agree, how could you be mad at that face?!? Gracie stole a stick of butter off the table last week when my family was over for supper! LOL

[Holiday]

I am going to be putting up some fall decorations this week. I leave my USB Christmas tree and 'Merry Christmas' wall decoration up all year (although I only turn on the decoration starting October 1). What can I say?
