Did you ever watch, Rick Steve's European Christmas? I love that one so much!!!!

I am enjoying the stories about Turtle. What a sweetie!!!

My mom and I just watched Rick Steves European Christmas a few weeks ago! It has become a favorite of ours, just beautiful.

They stopped scraping their feet and back to Valerie. Let's hope she don't get the urge to take her shoes off and flake crud off her feet too! She might try to convince us it's some home decorating technique. :lol:

My mom and I just watched Rick Steves European Christmas a few weeks ago! It has become a favorite of ours, just beautiful.

I didn't know you had the DVD! A lot of people have not heard of it. I am hooked! I want to jump into the TV when they are in Switzerland! I might have to watch it today.

My Mom bought it for me! I only had caught part if it, so she ordered it because she knew I'd love it. She is The one who got me watching his travel show! She has watched it and read his books for years, and they actually ran into him while in France one year!
It is so neat to see everyone's different holiday traditions. And the choir! Wow!!

That is great that they like your work so much they want you to be there for them. I know with your schedule you don't want that many hours but I bet it's nice to know they like you being there!

It is nice CAH, it's a wonderful school. Everyone is so nice and I just love being around the little ones.

Seems like an age HMG! I hope you been well. I thought of you over the summer as I remembered your daughter would be moving. How is she settling in? How are you adjusting? I hope the graduation went well also, I know I'm a bit late!

I'm doing well Sam, hope you are too. My youngest is off to college and has settled in. She is a bit homesick but she likes it a lot. The graduation ceremony was beautiful, thanks. It was very emotional for me, especially since she is my last one. I'm so happy that you have been popping in here again every day, I missed you!

Well, my son's Guinea pig Norm died overnight. The kids are upset and my wife and I will miss that little guy too. He was part of our family.

Other than that, not much going on. I hope everyone is having a great week!

I'm having a much needed cup of coffee before I start working on some chores around the house. I'll also be starting dinner before I know it. Today went well at the preschool but but my back is breaking. We still have a few kids that are crying so we've been holding them as much as we can to try and comfort them. It's been a long time since I walked around with a kid on my hip, I'm really feeling it. The rest of the day should be quiet for me, I don't plan on going anywhere. Looking forward to a relaxing evening. I'm also going to give my youngest a call to see how she's doing. September 27th is Family Day at the college so we'll be heading upstate to see her that day. I'm counting down, can't wait!

Hey there all! Just getting the chance to log in today for the first time. I left the house early and drove to a job site to review the construction progress. Got there and was wrapping things up, Ha, went to the car to leave,.....nothing! There I was, 100 miles from home and the dag-gone starter went up in the car. Had to get it towed to a near-by garage, at least it was owned by a Christian man, who needlessly did not rake me over the coals. Towing and installing a new starter - 350.00, I didn't think that was too bad!

Home now, waiting on a moving company to come to the house at 4 o'clock, to give us an estimate to move everything. Then it's back upstairs to remote log-in and do some work on another engineering project for the VA..... I'll be out there all day tomorrow doing some field investigations...

I only knew of the DVD from you talking about it a few years back, when I saw it at Goodwill the first thing I thought was that CAH raves about it, I better buy it. cheesy
