Yea me too, Made!

I've been thinking about buying one of those wildlife cameras like BradMac has, and set it up at my new house to see what's around there. When I was looking at the place a few months ago, there were three doe's standing there (and one of them winked at me......;-))LOL!

No seriously, there was deer standing right next to the house when I was there looking at it.

Ok folks. I just saw that there was a posting on Foots Forecast about the winter weather predicition for the mid-atlantic area and it is going to be a wonderful winter if you love snow. Their prediction has fallen right in line with what Accuweather had predicted. If you don't like snow, better pack up and head to Florida, because it's a coming.....

http://www.footsforecast.org/

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? The fast, clean version of our early projection:
  • A much wetter, snowier winter for the Mid-Atlantic, resembling 2009-2010.
  • A cooler summer in the Arctic, Canada and eastern US could signal an earlier start to winter weather - with the first significant accumulation of snow for the Mid-Atlantic by mid November.
  • In contrast to 2013-14, the eastern U.S. should see less ice storms and major cold blasts, courtesy of a slightly warmer influence from El Nino.

Okay, that's it, I'm packing up and heading down south to camp on the beach all winter!!!!

Good evening, everyone!

I am currently laying on my bed with Simon. Kim is out searching for a baby gate in order to allow Simon to roam the apartment more freely. He is currently wearing a cone around his head and his paws are a little sore. We had him declawed along with getting him fixed. The decision hurt us a lot, but we did not want to risk him (accidentally) scratching our future children - assuming we do have children sometime. Unfortunately, because of our precaution, Simon's recovery time is a little longer now. Hopefully he will be back at full health by Monday, at least we would love to be able to remove his cone by then... Thankfully, he is doing much better with it today than yesterday. Poor guy. Also, thank you to everyone for sending positivity Simon's way. He has been nothing but a Big Guy today.

Not much happening tonight. I still have to make dinner. I will begin as soon as Kim returns. It is suppose to get down to -1c tonight with the windchill. Yep. I think this may be the first time we dip below freezing since the beginning of April. That's how it goes in Canada!

As of right now, I don't yet have a teaching position for tomorrow. I spoke with my manager at Passport. He was incredibly supportive my teaching and said to call in over the next week and a bit if I get a job elsewhere. Awesome!

Well, Kim is back. Time to start a late dinner. Hope everyone has enjoyed their Thursday. We are one day away from another fantastic weekend. And, of course, who knows what could "Blossom" next week? :D

Holiday: Sorry for your mourning. Your brother looks like he was a fun fellow. All the best to you and your family on this day.

Oh very nice....

Hey Made, Here's what happens when they get into my black berry patch~

Merry morning all!

It's been a busy morning. Mr. Festive is off sick so I had to go to the chemist after the school run for some medicine. On my way there I popped into one of the local stores and sure enough Christmas stuff was out! Not everything yet but quite a lot. As I was walking into the shop a lady blurted out to me 'Christmas stuff is out'. It was great to see someone else so excited lol!

Lots of Halloween stuff too! I have seen a couple ceramic ghost and pumpkin lanterns I would like to get. They are only 1.00 each so hey why not right?

When I came home, I spent the entire morning cleaning and doing laundry. I need to catch up with some work at some point today though.

Hope you all are having a great day.

I want Christmas stuff out!!!
Most place here haven't even finished putting Halloween out yet.
