First of all: Our family computers are down so I am am stuck using my crappy phone so if you thought I had errors before just you wait!! I am tyring I promise!

I got home yesterday and I want to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers while I was gone, to be honest It was hard while I was gone and I hardly had time to do anything but work...the military is not the same as it was 20 years ago when I joined, but I guess you could say that about any corp these days. Anywho... I am waiting for fall to arrive...it's still mild and everythin is till green. Usually the changes occur in eearly to mid October! I missed yall so much but I am back and I have 2 weeks until I go back to service. Brandi has gone back to teaching in early august and loves it, I will change the hours I work to I can stay home with my boys and work in the afternoon and night!!! can't wait to meet the new members here and talk to my old pals..it's been 4 years this month since I joined! TTYL!

YAY! Welcome home dawg!!!!!

Merry Monday! Last full week of September! Hope you all had a great weekend and ready for the week ahead. I have tons of work to catch up on today. It is really chilly out. I get the feeling the cold is coming in now and will probably stay. Back to thick coats, hats and gloves !

I am in a list making mood this morning. I may start making my to do lists for the season!!!

Have a beautiful, merry day!

Good morning, Festive! Good luck with your list making. Have a great day!

tonight at 10:45pm fall officially starts. (who picks these times?)

This is comical because I turned on the Today Show and they said it officially arrives at 10:27 pm then turn over to my local news and they said 9:29 pm. I realize those are 2 different time zones but they are still off by a couple of minutes and 10:45 is off as well.

I don't care what time it arrives as long as it hurries and gets here!!! :D

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I haven't had a chance to catch up & I'm not sure that I will...looks like it was a busy weekend around here! :-D

Our neighbor boys wedding was very nice over the weekend. The weather was beautiful all weekend - minus a little rain Saturday night & the wind yesterday! We had a bonfire at the lake Friday night, some of us lake neighbor ladies went to the winery for lunch on Saturday - they had their (yearly) debut of "Wintry Nights" wine. Last year it sold out in no time, so we went to make sure we got some. Now it's back to the grind...

I saw the Hallmark channel has changed over to the number of days until the Christmas movies start, rather than weeks in the corner of the tv screen! :playing:

Have a great Monday everyone!

LOL...I heard 10:29 on the radio this morning!

A pretty nice day yesterday although the temps were up a bit.
All in all, not bad since the humidity was not high.
Today has begun for us at 65 degrees here, after a short rain last night.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks!

Have a great monday, Crown!!!!!

Thanks guys!
She's feeling so much better already, it's like night & day. She's going to regroup and make a new plan. She already got her old job back so she will keep busy until she starts school again. Everything is going to be just fine.
xoxo

Glad to hear that she is doing better and that she was able to get her old job back!!!

Good morning!
Just popping in quick to say hello. I have lots to do before work, I hope to be back later this afternoon.
I hope everyone has a Happy Monday!

Have a great day, HMG!!!! Hope you got everything done!!!

Today is the first day of Autumn but will not feel like it here. Our temps will be mid to upper 80's all week. It's still a cool down compared to what we have had.

Wayne and I did not make it to the Arboretum over the weekend to see the Pumpkin Village. We hope to make it next weekend. We did go to a lot of shops and saw lots of Autumn and Christmas decorations for sale!

It's good to Gabulldawg back!!!!! Welcome home!!!

How are you feeling, Made???

I am not going to get a chance to catch up since I was away most of the weekend.

I hope you all have a Merry Day!!!

Thanks, I'm doing better. Still coughing but it's not as bad as it was.

Stay cool friend and hope you get to go to the Arboretum next weekend!!!!

Good Morning MMC !!!

Another chilly morning here.
We are doing our fall cleaning so everything is fresh and good looking for Christmas. The tree spot is picked out!
Going to pick up paint samples for the living room. Planning to do several different shades of green. (we have lots of nooks and crannies)

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!!

Have fun working on the cleaning today!!!!

Happy First Day of Fall, y'all!

It was so warm yesterday, Elizabeth and I went swimming. Of course, it took a minute to get used to the water temperature LOL.

Jacob's gig over the weekend went well. He and his band are really starting to sound good together!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Glad to hear that Jacob and his band are doing well!!!! Hope you and Elizabeth had fun swimming!!!

Hello everyone. I hope you all have a great day and week!

Hope you have a great week too, Ryan!!!!

It's less than 12 hours till Fall! HUZZAH!

WooHoo!!!!!

Happy autumnal Monday, y'all!

Still in the low 70s here, but the leaves are turning.

Hope you are having a great day, MerryCarey!!!!

Hope you get everything done today and your mum's appointment goes well.

Hope you are feeling a lot better now and over the pneumonia.

Thanks, Festive!!!! Mom's appointment did go well. Her blood level was still in range. I still have a few errands to run but have most of it done.

I just bought a Nutcracker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were some really lovely Christmas things out today in the shop - different from the usual which is really fun! I just love Nutcrackers and I couldn't resist him at just £1.99.

Cool!!!!! That is a really good deal!!!!

Here is my brand new Nutcracker along with the pumpkin I bought a couple weeks ago. I plan on painting the pumpkin although I quite like it in it's natural state.

There you go rubbing it in again!!!

I still haven't spotted it anywhere around here yet!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday wasn't fun. I don't take Packers losses very well, but they were absolutely awful. Oh well.

I am teaching today. To make everything even better, I actually have two periods off in a row. Plenty of time to do whatever I would like! If I had classes to teach, I would use this time to do a bunch of things, but it is pretty much just time for me to catch up on a few things.

Unfortunately, my teaching call came at 6AM this morning. It scared me! I could not get back to sleep afterwards, either. Simon was awoke and, thus, ready for breakfast, so I had to tend to him and a few other things. Oh well, I'd rather be here than working at Passport...

Today is officially the final day of summer in Ottawa. Late tonight, we will officially enter into the fall season. Obviously, it has felt like fall for a couple weeks now, but I am sure we will get hit with a few more days of "summer" weather, too, so it all should work out.

Speaking of fall, I had an incredibly beautiful drive to Russell today. About 15 minutes of the drive was filled with passing between surroundings of orange and red trees. I am really glad I got to witness that. I'd imagine it will be the same throughout the rest of this week. It's a shame that they'll like start to fall as we turn to October next Wednesday.

Speaking of "turning..." How about beginning yet another chapter of the Christmas Blossoms thread? Yep. I'd love to call this Blossoms week, but I don't want to be getting ahead of myself! All I can do is sit and wait until Crown posts trustily posts the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year!

Until then, have a great Monday, everyone! It's the final full week of September. (Almost) the beginning of a new season. So much excitement!

We bought 2 candles from Bath and Body Works - Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. They smell heavenly! I had bought it last year and enjoyed it. Strange thing is that I bought that same scented candle a few weeks ago and when I burned it there was barely any fragrance at all - I even burned it for over an hour, still nothing! I took it back and got a refund. Saturday I opened the candle to sniff and it had a very strong fragrance so I took the chance to buy it again. I told them what happened with the candle last time and they think it might have been a bad batch and reassured me, like they always do, to return it if it is not satisfactory. I have it burning now and it smells wonderful!!!

I never knew you could return a candle after burning it but I found out one time when I bought a candle from Bath and Body Works that smelled good at the store but when I burned it I was nauseated by the scent, way too sweet. I went back shopping to get a different one and told them about the one I bought that I didn't like. They insisted I bring it in for a refund. I told them I had already burned it (a short time but still lit it). They said it doesn't matter, if I don't like the smell to bring it back. The employees told me they return stuff too. Maybe that policy is in place at most stores but I just learned about it last year and it's good to know!

Thanks guys!
