And said Holidays are creeping closer and closer by the day.

Our morning numbers:
Days to the Season: 44
Days to Christmas Day: 86.

One week from today, Guys -- the ninety percent Home Stretch Milestone to the Season.
(And we know how fast things move after that, don't we?)


Well, our weather took a nasty, wet turn yesterday with lots of off and on again rain and temps that never reached 70.
Another about face is predicted for today, however, and it is supposed to be dry and sunny.
(Good!)
We have begun this second day of the work week at 63 degrees here in central NC.

Our tree just got delivered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeek!

I built it up to make sure all the parts are there. Very easy and quick to build with hinged branches. The pine is very realistic! I have not opened out the branches apart from a few to see what it's like. But I can tell it will be bushy and full.

It is up in the bedroom until I can show it to my eldest and Mr festive. Then I will have to put it away back in it's box.

Is it too early to put the tree up?? Hahahahaha

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :merry:

I have been wanting to try the bikes out. They just put them out around town in April. They say it's been a really popular program.

The paddle boats would be a blast too!!!

We saw the bicycles riding all around town! What a fun idea!! We would have rented them at the end of the canal walk to ride back to the hotel, IF one of us would have brought a credit card along on our walk! LOL

Good evening! Oh my goodness, I feel like I only have time to say good morning & goodnight to all of you lately. I don't know how women work full time and still keep up with everything at home.

I don't keep up with everything at home. If DH or DD have a complaint about it, they know to do something about it. (They never complain & they do help out sometimes!) I'm not killing myself to do it all. Someday DD will be out on her own, the house will be much neater, & there won't be as much laundry or as many dishes to do...I'm fine with a dusty, not dirty, house for now!

Oh my goodness, I feel like I only have time to say good morning & goodnight to all of you lately. I don't know how women work full time and still keep up with everything at home. I'm only working part time and its hectic. The preschool owner offered me more hours today. I told her I had to think about it. I'm not sure if I can take anymore on right now. Maybe in the future though, we'll see. I'm really enjoying the job, I'm working with 2, 3 and 4 years olds. They are adorable, I just love them so much.

You've all been in my thoughts, I hope everyone had a great day, enjoy the rest of the evening!
